Khadijah

English by Zain Bhikha
Arabic by Isa Esambaev

The greatest love story to ever be told
Is the love of Khadijah and the Prophet of God
Made for each other, both noble and pure
She saw him, she saw the greatest gift from Allah

She loved and stood by him when no one was there
She comforted, covered him, easing his fears
The first of believers, his burdens she’d bear
With her love and her wealth and with all that she had

CHORUS

خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
Khadijah, the beloved

وَ خَيْرُ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِيْن
And the best of women in the world

هُنَّ بِنَصِّ الدَّلِيْلِ الْمُبِيْن
They are the epitome of clear guidance

خَدِيْجَة وَ مَرَيَمْ وَ آسِيَا
Khadijah and Maryam and Aasiya

وَ فَاطِمَة بِنْتُ الرَّسُوْلِ الْكَرِيْم
And Fatima the daughter of the noble Messenger

تَأَلَّمَ لِفَقْدِهَا الْمُصْطَفَى
He, the chosen one, felt the pain of losing her

وَ كَانَ شَدِيْدَ الْمَحَبَّة لَهَا
He had intense love for her

وَ يُكْرِمُهَا وَ يُجِلُّهَا
And used to honour and revere her

وَ يَذْكُرُهَا بِالْخَيْرِ وَ الْوَفَاء
And mention her with goodness and faithfulness

خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
Khadijah, the beloved

Respected, beloved, successful and strong
Raised in her status, she was so much more
With Aasia, Fatima, Maryam belongs
Khadijah, with the greatest women to be born

He’d say that her love was a gift from Allah
Jibreel would bring peace and glad tidings to her
Muhammad shed tears when she left this world
He’d remember Khadijah as the best of them all

CHORUS

خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
Khadijah, the beloved

وَ جِبَرِيْلُ يَأْتِيْ بِبُشْرَى السَّمَاء
And Jibreel came with glad tidings from the heavens

مِنَ اللهِ يُلْقِيْ عَلَيْهَا السَّلاَم
From Allah, sending peace upon her

يُبَشِّرُهَا بِنَعِيْمِ الْجِنَان
Giving her glad tidings of the comforts of paradise

وَ قَصْرٍ مِّنَ الْيَاقُوْتِ وَ الْمَرْجَان
And a palace of rubies and pearls

خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
Khadijah, the beloved

CHORUS

خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
خَدِيْجَة الْحَبِيْبَة
Khadijah, the beloved

A Phoenix Once Was Palestine

When dusk descends on a crimson sky
When truth reveals a million lies
From the ashes there will rise
A phoenix once was Palestine

Take their lives, takes their homes
Steal their land, break their bones
Kill those babies, silent screams
No more children’s broken dreams
No more mothers, no more fathers
Where’s our Palestinian brothers
Just go on your rage and ravage
It’s just your collateral damage
Never look back
Just part of your plan
Selling your souls
The worlds gone cold

When dusk descends on a crimson sky
When truth reveals a million lies
From the ashes there will rise
A phoenix once was Palestine

Occupy then demonise
Human freedom you deny
They not people, you decide
Starve and torture watch with pride
Taking over, colonise
Stand upon that broken child
Where’s your conscience, where’s your honour
Cowardly you run for cover
Underneath your kevlar armour
From a child with sticks and rubber
In his heart he holds a fire
All he knows is this is Gaza
Home he loves, can’t run away
While genocide, is taking place
When dusk descends on a crimson sky
When truth reveals a million lies
From the ashes there will rise
A phoenix once was Palestine

Normalise / hypothesize
But you’re the victim every time
Build your walls with rock and stone
Hide behind your iron dome
Make your victims terrorists
Sell your lies, so ludicrous
Leaders show their ignorance
All yellow bellies, impotent
But there’s no peace but what justice brings
And freedom is so imminent

When dusk descends on a crimson sky
When truth reveals a million lies
From the ashes there will rise
A phoenix once was Palestine

Yakin doa didengar
(Trusting that our prayers are heard)
Harapan kekal bersinar
(Hope continues to shine)
Reda hati dengan takdir
(Heart accepting of fate)
Meniti hari yang getir
(Despite the difficulties of each day)
Semua kan pasti berakhir
(Everything will surely end)
Hujung yang indah menanti
(A beautiful ending awaits)

Kala senja membias kirmizi
(When dusk descends on a crimson sky)
Kala terserlah sejuta dusta
(When truth reveals a million lies)
Dari debu ‘kan kembali
(From the ashes there will rise)
Nafas kebebasan ‘tuknya
(A breath of freedom (for Palestine))

When dusk descends on a crimson sky
When truth reveals a million lies
From the ashes there will rise
A phoenix once was Palestine

Take their lives, takes their homes
Steal their land, break their bones
Kill those babies, silent screams
No more children’s broken dreams

مِنَ الرَّمَادِ نَحْيَا نَعِيْش
(Out from the ashes, we live, we live.)
مِثْلَ الْعَنْقَاءِ مِنَ الْلَا شَي
(Like the phoenix from nothing.)
فِيْ سَمَاءِ الْغَاصِبِيْنَ نَسْمُوْ وَ نَعْلُوْ جَاهِدِيْن
(In the sky of the oppressors, we rise up above, striving.)
بِالرُّوْحِ نَفْدِيْ فَلَسْطِيْن
(With spirit, we sacrifice for Palestine.)
وَالنَّصْرُ فِيْنَا سَيَحِيْن
(And victory within us is drawing near.)

When dusk descends on a crimson sky
When truth reveals a million lies
From the ashes there will rise
A phoenix once was Palestine

I'm Not Ready To Let You Go

Strong hands are helping you
From falling down
Your faith so inspiring
As you settle down
The angels are welcoming
We feel it all around

With gentle eyes you say to me
All the signs are there
Allah’s always been kind to me
So don’t you despair
There’s so much I don’t understand
I say Dad not yet …

Cos I’m not ready
To let you go
You’ve been there for me, strong and steady
Always holding on
How can a mountain
Just crumble and fold
Leaving a river
To find its way home
How do I find my way home
Guess I’m not ready
To let you go

The world keeps turning round and round like nothing’s wrong
But my world’s turning upside down I don’t belong
It seems I’ve changed so much since you’ve been gone
There’s a pain inside my heart I can’t let go
Allah knows …

I’m not ready
To let you go
You’ve been there for me, strong and steady
Always holding on
So how can my mountain
Just crumble and fold
Leaving a river
To find its way home
How do I find my way home
Guess I’m not ready
To let you go

Voice In Your Head

I’ll be the voice in your head
Telling you to keep going strong
You’ll remember everything I said
When it all seems to go wrong
And no matter where I am, where you are, doesn’t matter now
I’ll be there with you, our bond unbreakable
You’ll always be my baby
My unconditional love in your heart
I’ll be the voice in your head
I’ll be the voice in your head
I’ll be the voice in your head
I'll be the voice in your head

Holding hands looking up eyes wide
You’re with me everything is alright
I’m your hero, don’t ever let go
Don’t worry honey, I’ll be by your side
But wait no! Let me go right now
Face to face, can’t hide, can’t see eye to eye
What’s behind that mask and that cynical smile
Where did it all go wrong, I see you cry
Don’t you slam that door, I beg you let me inside
You too old, you’ll never know, what is really going on

Never can understand all the battles I’ve been in
But there’s a hope someday, it’ll play back in your mind
I was always there, always by your side
Loving you no matter how you tried to push me away

I’ll be the voice in your head,
Telling you keep going strong
You’ll remember everything I said
When it all seems to go wrong
And no matter where I am, where you are, doesn’t matter now
I’ll be there with you, across time metaphysical
You’ll always be my baby
My unconditional love in your heart
I’ll be the voice in your head
I’ll be the voice in your head
I’ll be the voice in your head
I'll be the voice in your head

I look at you, see my life gone by
We’re at a loss at the hands of time
We may be broken, but souls are chosen
To help each other search for the divine

It was my gift from God, to call you mine
Now I realise, I can’t live your life
Be the bow that’s firm, let my arrow fly

Now when we turn around
Calling names out loud
Don’t you realise, it always I
Who called your name for the very first time

I’ll be the voice in your head
Telling you to keep going strong
You’ll remember everything I said
When it all seems to go wrong
And no matter where I am, where you are, doesn’t matter now
I’ll be there with you, our bond unbreakable
You’ll always be my baby
My unconditional love in your heart
I’ll be the voice in your head
I have given everything I have
From the roots to the wings, God knows I tried
Mistakes I made I apologise
A voice in your head
Please remember everything I said
Put the blame on me, it don’t mean that much
Cos all I ever tried to do came from love

A gift from God forever
Souls meant to be together
I watched you grow, you were once so small
Now you say I need to let you go
On and on the tidal flows
We crash and break upon the shore
My baby I am waiting for you
Come back home

Round and round we go
Through the steady and the storm
I’ll be the place you call home
I’ll be the place you call home

Round and round we go
Through the steady and the storm
In your head, in your heart I will always be
The place you call home

I’ll be the place you call home
Through the steady and the storm
You’ll always have my love to hold
I’ll be the place you call home

Sleepytime

Sleepy time, sleepy time, everybody sleeps
Sleepy time, sleepy time, everybody sleeps
Sleepy time, sleepy time, everybody sleeps
Sleepy time, sleepy time, everybody sleeps

Mummy’s going to sleep
Daddy’s going to sleep
Brother’s going to sleep
Your sister’s going to sleep
Everybody’s going to sleep
Grandpa’s going to sleep
What about my Baba
Baba’s going to sleep

Chorus:

Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps
Sleepy time, sleepy time, everybody sleeps

The dog’s going to sleep
The cat’s going to sleep
The cow’s going to sleep
The horse is going to sleep
Everybody’s going to sleep, the birds are going to sleep
But what about my Baba
Baba’s going to sleep

Chorus:

Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps

Hey Mr. Goat, what you going to do
Don’t you know it’s sleepy time, sleepy time for you
Hey Little Sheep, you’re jumping up and down,
I’m sleepy now, I’m counting down, no time to mess around
Hey Mr Snail, so slow along your way
But that’s okay, cos in your shell, you're sleepy every day, hey

Chorus:

Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps
Sleepy time, sleepy time, everybody sleeps

Allah takes our souls on adventures every night
Among His signs, appointed times, then we return to life
We fall asleep and wake up early all in Allah’s name
Our bodies and our minds rested for another day

Hey Mr Fox, with your cutie little smile
And with your furry coat you cuddle close for sleepy time
Hey Caterpillar, it’s time to say goodbye
Rest in your cocoon and you’ll become a butterfly
Hey Crocodile, I see your sneaky smile
You want to have a little snack before your sleepy time

Chorus:

Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps

Hey Daddy Shark, you can live so long
As you play and swim around, you’re sleeping all along
Hey Orangutan, don’t you know it’s true
Stop all your hop-a-long, it’s sleepy time for you
Hey Pink Flamingo, dancing in the reeds
Stand upright, one leg uptight, it’s time to go to sleep, hey

Chorus:

Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps
Sleepy time, sleepy time, everybody sleeps

Hey Brown Buffalo, rolling on the hills
I know you’re unstoppable, but sleepy time it is
Hey Baby Bear, you know it’s getting late
Wintertime is sleepy time for you to hibernate
Hey Little Monkey, climbing up a tree
Way up high, you see the sky, a million little dreams

Chorus:

Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps

Allah takes our souls on adventures every night
Appointed times, among His signs then we return to life
We pray and play throughout the day, from early dawn to dusk
Sleepy time’s among the signs Allah has given us
So my little Bunny, a wrinkle in your nose
I love that you’re beside me, so we can cuddle close

Chorus:

Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Sleepy time sleepy time everybody sleeps
Everybody everybody, everybody sleeps
Sleepy time, sleepy time, everybody sleeps

Little birdie up in the tree
Come along and sing with me
Little birdie you are so free
Not like mankind and me

Chorus:

Sing little birdie sing so sweet
Sing little birdie to me
Sing little birdie with your sweet voice
From your house up high in the tree
Little birdie it's a pleasure to see
All the gifts from Allah that you use
Why does mankind not follow your way?
Why not he has nothing to lose?

Chorus:

Sing little birdie sing so sweet
Sing little birdie to me
Sing little birdie with your sweet voice
From your house up high in the tree
Little birdie there's a lesson I've learnt
As I sit here and watch you today
We already have all that we need
From Allah you have shown us the way

I will sing little birdie sing so sweet
Thank Allah for all He’s given to me
I will sing little birdie with a sweet voice
As you watch from your house in the tree

SubhanAllah
Wal Hamdullillah
Wa La Illaha Ill Allah
SubhanAllah
Wal Hamdullillah
There is no God but Allah

Subhanallah
Wal Hamdullillah Wa La Illaha Ill Allah
SubhanAllah
Wal Hamdullillah
There is no God but Allah

As we praise and thank Allah
As we praise and thank Allah
As we praise and thank Allah

Dada and Me - Season One

I wandered through the wild one day and what did I see there
a cheeky little monkey was flying through the air
I turned around to ask him, what do you say to Allah
didn't really think he'd answer me but then I heard him say out loud

Oo oo oo, ah ah ah said the monkey from his tree
he laughed and he giggled and he fooled around
and his face was full of glee
Oo oo oo, ah ah ah said the monkey from his tree
he thanked Allah for all that he had, just the same as you and me

As I walked on further, a stripey tiger came
he walked right up and he smiled at me
he was sweet as sugar cane
I asked him how do you praise Allah, wasn't sure what he would say,
he grinned and answered me right back in his own special way

Raar Raar raar said the tiger, with a really mighty roar
I also pray many times a day, when I'm resting on the floor
Raar Raar raar said the tiger, as strong as he can be
I thank Allah for all that I have, just the same as you and me

So many creatures on that day I met, and I asked them one by one,
the giraffe and the yak, with the bird on his back,
and the rhino was so much fun
they squeaked and they squawked and they growled and they brayed
as they answered me that day.
We thank Allah for all that we have, in our own special way

Oo oo oo, ah ah ah said the monkey from his tree
Raar Raar Raar said the tiger with a smile that’s oh so sweet
The others squeaked and squaked and growled as happy as can be
We thank Allah for all that we have, just the same as you and me

Where are your hands ....... here!
Where are your feet .....there!
Where are your fingers that you use to eat

Where is your head...... here!
Where are your toes.... there!
Where is the thing you use to smell it's called your nose!

Who was it that made us with all these lovely things
we use them every day and see the joy they bring
It was Allah, it was Allah
It was Allah, it was Allah

Where are your arms...... here!
Where are your knees.......there!
Where is your tongue that you use to say please

Where are your ears......here!
Where Is your hair.......there!
Where are your eyes that make you stop and stare

Looking at me in the mirror,
Oh Allah you made me beautiful
Now all I ask is for the thing that matters
Beautify my inside too

Where is your tummy ...... here!
Where is your thumb .......there!
Where’s your belly button that connected you to mom

Where is your neck ......here!
Where Is your chin.......there!
Look at how our body’s wrapped in different colour of skin

Where are your shoulders...here!
Where is your palm.... there!
Where is your chest that covers up your gentle heart

Where is your giggle...here!
Where is your frown.... there!
Where is your smile when you turn it upside down

So you have a head and ears and eyes and nose and mouth and neck
Shoulders, elbows, arms and hands and a spine going down your back
A chest and belly button in your tummy above your hips
Then comes your thighs, higher than your knees and your shins
Right to the bottom to comes your ankles feet and soles
That’s your full body from your head to your toes

Raise up your hands
Bow down and pray
Thank Allah for this body that He made

Yes, it was Allah, who made us just the way we are
With His infinite mercy and love from the start
It was Allah, it was Allah
It was Allah, it was Allah

Fajr is the morning salaah
Before sunrise we pray
Then comes Dhuhr, after Zawaal
It’s around the middle of the day
Asr in the late afternoon is done
Maghrib after dusk when the sun has gone
Esha we pray when the night is dark
Now I know my five salaah
With you

Salaah is one of five pillars of Islam
Of all of our deeds, it’s the best by far
We get to converse with Allah, at very special times
and we reprioritise

Everyone who prays, oh Allah knows
It’s like he bathed in a river outside his home
No dirt remains, minor sins cleansed away, every day
that’s what my Nabi says (Sallahu Alayhi Wasalaam)

Every day we pray, at appointed times
We turn to Allah, bring blessings to our lives
A gift for the Ummah, given to Muhammad Alayhi Salaam
Was the coolness of his eyes

When your days rushing by and you still find the time
Turn to Allah, and you feel His light
Your face and your hands and your feet oh how they will shine
Your place of prostration will testify (La illaha Il Allah)

Sometimes we feel happy, sometimes times we’ll feel sad
Sometimes we get angry, and mad mad mad
It feels like your head is hot hot hot
Boiling over like a bubbling pot
Your ears are burning and your eyes are red
You try to smile… but you scream instead

Take a breath, and make wudhu
Pray salaah, it’s best for you
You’ll be stronger, and oh so cool
Say toodle doo, your grumpiness is through

At times we get tested, at times it goes down
Don’t act like a grizzly, growling around
You scratch and you claw and bicker and fight
Nobody listening, you wanna be right
And the more that you try, they don’t understand
The mercury rising, red red red

If you standing up
Then walk away
Try to settle down
It’s a better way
Cos the one that’s strongest
Is one who holds his tongue
when the grizzly comes
Until their grumpiness is done!

Sometimes you want something, something right now
And they say that’s you can’t, and you don’t know why
cos it can’t be fair, and it don’t seem right
You just wanna play and you don’t wanna fight
But you scream out loud and your insides burn
Why is it everyone’s else’s turn

Just say the words, Audhubillah
Oh Allah, save me from Shaytaan
It’s a mighty weapon, when we have Iman
And it cools the fire, wave your grumpiness goodbye

Sometimes you feel sad and you don’t even know
Why they don’t call you to come and play along
you really wanna join them, but they say no!
It’s never ever nice to be all alone

Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose
Allah will choose, what is best for you
Every up and downs, c’mon bring it on
Oh you have to be strong, till your grumpiness is gone

Take a breath, and make wudhu
Pray to Allah, He’ll get you through
So c’mon save yourself
And those around you too
From the grumpy grizzly YOU!!

As a Muslimah

What will I be when I grow up?

What will I be when I grow up?
As a Muslimah

A writer is what I want to be
People will read the books by me
I'll write stories and poetry
Insha'Allah

What will we be when we grow up?
What will we be when we grow up?
What will we be when we grow up?
As Muslims everywhere
We want to be the best we can
Follow the Prophet and Quraan
Every Muslim, woman and man
Pleasing Allah

Sail across the seven seas
Spreading peace and harmony
That's the life for me

What will I be when I grow up?
What will I be when I grow up?
What will I be when I grow up?
As a Muslimah

A mummy is what I want to be
I'll raise children just like me
To go through life with dignity
That is what I'll be

Rub-a-dub scrub like when you make wudhu
You use some soapy soap and you work it through

Splish splash!
Make it last!
I’m clean and I’m fresh and I feel brand new
Scrub Scrub
In the Tub
It’s half our Deen and I feel so blessed

Washy wash your hands and your face and your feet
From top to toe and everything in between

Splish Splash
Have a blast
I’m clean and I’m fresh and I feel so blessed
Scrub Scrub
My little dove
I’m squeaky clean like my yellow rubber duck

Round and round and round we go
With water like raindrops drizzling down
I’m singing and I’m splashing like I knew I would
I’m clean all over, it feels so goood

When your tummy is a grumbling, you wanna eat
Gotta clean your hands, before you take a seat

Washy wash!
But don’t rush
Gone In 20 seconds
That Coronavirus
No no!
I told you so
We been keeping clean from 1400 years ago

Up and down, round round, brush your teeth
You can use miswaak, like our Prophet did

Brushy brush!
And wash wash
Those pearly whites, are sparkling so nice
Flip flop
In bed I drop
Co it’s sleepytime and I feel like a boss

I’m floating and I’m flying as I fall asleep
I’m praying and thanking Oh Allah to keep
me pure on the outside and within
I’m so glad that cleanliness is half my Deen
It’s half my Deen
Cleanliness is half my Deen

Don’t talk about your brother
Don’t talk about your sister
Don’t talk of anyone behind their backs
Don’t you know the things you mumble
Go around, cause so much trouble
It’s as if you chewing on somebody else

He’s a little lazy
She is kinda lost
That ones so darn crazy
Always talking nonsense
And everyone is out there , and they’ve all got it wrong
Except for me who’s perfect, cos I’m the only one NO!

Don’t talk about your brother
Don’t talk about your sister
Don’t talk of anyone behind their backs
Don’t you know the things you mumble
Go around, cause so much trouble
It’s as if you chewing on somebody else

He is doing so much wrong
She is never nice
All the chitter chatter now
But man, I should think twice
Realise the eyes spy, and everything I say
Can come back to me in a nasty kinda way

Don’t talk about your neighbour
Go and do yourself a favour
look into your heart and see the wrong within
None of us live in a bubble
What we say is double trouble
All we do is take upon somebody’s sins

He and all his cronies
All they do is judge
They think they holy molies
Better and above
Hyenas always laughing, they love to yapp and yell
But the stories they keep telling gonna take them straight to hell-ooo

Don’t talk about your mother
Don’t talk about your father
Don’t talk of anyone behind their backs
Don’t you know the things you mumble
Go around, cause so much trouble
It’s as if you chewing on somebody else

So don’t be a troublemaker, don’t be a troll
You meddle and you mayhemming everywhere you go
You carry tales like slimy snails that always leave a trail
You think you hide behind a screen, the angels know your name
You ruin lives, you breaking ties, oh it’s a deadly game

Don’t talk about your neighbour
Go and do yourself a favour
look into your heart and see the wrong within
None of us live in a bubble
What we say is double trouble
All we do is take upon somebody’s sins

So stop the walkie talkies, save yourself from sin
The strongest one of all of us is one who holds his tongue
Especially when you angry, and you have so much to say
Just think about the person in a very special way

Don’t talk about your mother
Don’t talk about your father
Don’t talk of anyone behind their backs
Don’t you know the things you mumble
Go around, cause so much trouble
It’s as if you chewing on somebody else

Don’t talk about your neighbour
Go and do yourself a favour
look into your heart and see the wrong within
None of us live in a bubble
What we say is double trouble
All we do is take upon somebody’s sins

Yellow Circle shining sun,
Brown Chocolate Squares it's nearly done
Orange Hexagon bees inside,
White Spiral Shell washed in by the tide
Pink Square crystals upon a ring
White Crescent moon smile makes me sing
Green Oval eggs bluebird lays a few
A big Red Heart with love from me to you

So many shapes, everywhere we’ll find
A kaleidoscope of colours, and signs for our minds
Cos everything that is, all Allah said was Be
He inspired us to find Him, in everything we see

Coral Starfish on the ocean bed
Grey Geese Triangle flying overhead
Pointy Silver Arrow shows the way
Blue and Green Earth Sphere turns everyday
Purple Pentagon flowers so beautiful
Golden Pyramids of Giza built long ago
Shiny bright Diamonds sparkle like morning dew
The Stars light the heavens in a crimson hue

So many shapes, everywhere we’ll find
A kaleidoscope of colours, and signs for our minds
Cos everything that is, all Allah said was Be
He inspired us to find Him, in everything we see

So a Triangle has 3 sides
Square has 4
Pentagon has 5
And the others have more
6 is a Hexagon
7 is a Heptagon
8 is an Octagon
9 is a Nonagon
10 is a Decagon

So many shapes, everywhere we’ll find
A kaleidoscope of colours, and signs for our minds
Cos everything that is, all Allah said was Be
He inspired us to find Him, in everything we see

Just when I thought
My heart could grow no more
You came along
I felt like never before

Sent from above
You brought me so much love
You’re all I ever wanted
You’re my jelly and custard

You’re my baby bear
Little love
Cutie monkey
Lovey dove
Sunshine on a cloudy day
You’re my angel face
Happy place
Schnookums
Huggy buggy boo
Sun’s shining just for you

On a hot summer’s day
You’re my cool lemonade
When grey clouds gather
You chase the rain away

You my honey bun, sugar lump, red jellybean
Your smile everlasting
Just like strawberry ice cream

You’re my baby bear
Little love
Cutie monkey
Lovey dove
Sunshine on a cloudy day
You’re my angel face
Happy place
Schnookums
Huggy buggy boo
Sun’s shining just for you

Stay soft and sweet like delicious liquorice
Be brave and strong, like the chunky hugs you give
I wanna see you shine
I wanna see you kind
Flying so high
Cos you’re my lovey dovey, honey bunny, cutie pie

You’re my baby bear
Little love
Cutie monkey
Lovey dove
Sunshine on a cloudy day
You’re my angel face
Happy place
Schnookums
Huggy buggy boo
Sun’s shining just for you

Stay soft and sweet like delicious liquorice
Be brave and strong, like the chunky hugs you give
I wanna see you shine
I wanna see you kind
Flying so high
Cos you’re my lovey dovey, honey bunny, cutie pie

You’re my baby bear
Little love
Cutie monkey
Lovey dove
Sunshine on a cloudy day
You’re my angel face
Happy place
Schnookums
Huggy buggy boo
Sun’s shining just for you

You hold me, I’m flying
Your giggles like butterflies
Sprinkling my soul
With stardust and more
It’s you that I’m chasing
My heart goes a racing
Just for you
Just for you
Just for you

You’re my baby bear
Little love
Cutie monkey
Lovey dove
Sunshine on a cloudy day
You’re my angel face
Happy place
Schnookums
Huggy buggy boo
Sun’s shining just for you

You’re my bubblegum, my jelly tots
My gummy bear, my soda pop
My sweet cotton candy floss

You’re my astros, my lemon drops
My minty bubbly chocolate
my salted caramel, my lollipop

You’re the cream on my vanilla shake
The icing on my cuppy cake
The sprinkling of what dreams are made of
What dreams are made of
What dreams are made of
What dreams are made of
What dreams are made of

You’re my baby bear
Little love
Cutie monkey
Lovey dove
Sunshine on a cloudy day
You’re my angel face
Happy place
Schnookums
Huggy buggy boo
Sun’s shining just for you
Just for you

Stop and look,
is there any way to lend a hand
Help real quick
At home or at school or wherever you can
Just stop and look and lend a helping hand

If you open it, then close it
If you drop it down, then pick It up
If it’s messy, then clean it
Be a pleasure, to have around

If it’s heavy, help lift it
If it’s messy, then wipe it up
If it’s in the way, get it out the way
Just do your best, every single day

Those who are caring and kind
They help everyone, they never mind
Allah sends His mercy and love
upon them multiplied, multiplied, multiplied

Surprise parents, and teachers
With any task, before they ask
Take the lead and with a smile
Be a very blessed child

Make a promise, then keep it
Give a time, then make it
a mistake? Just realise
Not ifs and but’s, just apologise

There’s always something for you to do
Do what you’d like done for you
Lighten the load and brighten the heart
Spark lots of smiles, all around!

Someone needs you
Cos they are sad
Listen closely
Show them you care
And the burdens
That they bear
You can help by just being there

Stop and look,
is there any way to lend a hand?

Salvation

Growing up where I’m from, you have this social housing mentality
council estate mentality you don’t see a world outside your world, and this is damaging.
I learnt so much from travelling. I changed so much after travelling, opened my mind, changed my character. You should live like the birds, I live like a traveller

I was sitting on my own
In my beautiful home
Lots of people all around but I felt so alone
I thought I had everything
All the dreams that I had dreamed
But the cleansing of a heart and soul
Don’t come with material things

So I went to Istanbul
To the hammam of the sultan
The purest water they brought in
To wash away my sins
But before the clay had dried
My guilt had multiplied
And despite how hard they tried
I felt worse than when I walked in

Oh my Lord I need Salvation
Just a piece of peace and a bit of happiness
My minds going crazy and I feel so lost
Cos I can’t get through to you

So I flew to Dubai
Everything that money can buy
But faith ain’t such a fickle thing
That glitters like gold outside
So I went to the USA
They say the land of the free and the brave
But freedom don’t mean anything
When your heart ain’t free within

Oh my Lord I need Salvation
Just a piece of peace and a bit of happiness
My minds going crazy and I feel so lost
Cos I can’t get through to you

I thought maybe Asia
To beautiful Malaysia
The people there were oh so nice
I thought maybe I could stay here
But I needed some rest
So I went to Budapest
I ate and ate cos I was hungry
But my soul was still restless

Oh my Lord I need Salvation
Just a piece of peace and a bit of happiness
My minds going crazy and I feel so lost
Cos I can’t get through to you

I thought I’d go back to my roots
Put on those village boots
To a small town deep in India
Where my great grandparents stood
I looked for someone I knew
Something for me to do
They said you look familiar son
But there’s nothing here for you

Oh my Lord I need Salvation
Just a piece of peace and a bit of happiness
My minds going crazy and I feel so lost
Cos I can’t get through to You

From London to Egypt Cairo, got my weapon everywhere that I go
Was a gun that could take away life, now it’s on my tongue, this Quran I recite
I had breakfast in Casablanca, now I’m back on this road again
like a journeyman, on this horse I ride, until the day my journey ends
I’m just a traveller, traveller, traveller on these lands
Allah blessed me in so many ways, none of this was ever in my plans
Cos I was a young boy, young boy, walking a lonely road
from street to street, they say my life is my journey home

Oh my Lord I found Salvation
A piece of peace and so much happiness
My mind was crazy and I felt so lost
But now I’m close to you

So back to my homeland
Back to where it all began
Same old faces and same old places
But I felt a change at hand
From Panama to Japan
New Zealand to Vietnam
He’s closer than your own jugular vein
Just call out Allah’s name
Where do you go to find God
It actually ain’t that hard
He’s always with you, wherever you are
Just remember Him in your heart

Oh my Lord I found Salvation
A piece of peace and so much happiness
My mind was crazy and I felt so lost
But now i’m close to you

Trinkets and clothes and gold treasure troves
They don’t mean nothing if your heart stays closed
Only remembering brings you close, to Him

Remember

Trinkets and clothes and gold treasure troves
They don’t mean nothing if your heart stays closed
Only remembering brings you close, to Him

Trinkets and clothes and gold treasure troves
They don’t mean nothing if your heart stays closed
Only remembering brings you close, to Him
Brings you close to Him

The road to salvation is filled with temptation
Trials and tribulations grant us motivation
To seek out elevation so our nation doesn’t fail but
Allah will not change our situation until we change ourselves
Only He can turn the impossible into possible
When Life is full of obstacles and patience is optional
Remember who’s responsible in this journey we call life
For guiding all us sinners from darkness into light

The walls begin, to set in
But I’m not afraid
for the darkness knows my name
Have I fallen too far
Far beneath
Most days I feel, like I’m not even here

Ain’t no one, waiting for me
Don’t come around, oh there’s nothing to see
lost all my love, wasted my tears
No more to lose, So I’ve nothing to fear
Tearing it down, this hollow ground
There’s no need for goodbye

Oh this world is so cruel
So goodbye gentle soul
I’m not coming back home
Like I was before
Cos this rabbit hole
There’s no wonders it holds
Only hell below

Respect I gained, a fearful name
All mine, 99 lives I claimed
Doesn't build me up, doesn’t go away
All those eyes, they watch me night and day

Is there a heaven, still waiting for me
Can redemption come before my final sleep
Or am I too far gone, have I fallen too deep
Oh No Holy Man, don’t tell me God can’t
Forgive a man like me

I've become so cruel, thought I gained but lost
There’s no coming back home, he says you get what you got
But to save a soul, oh there’s gotta be hope
From the hell below

100 now, and all around,
their sentence stands, guilty hammer’s down
But an ember burns, I feel it deep inside,
Oh learned man, tell me where salvation lies

You gotta leave right now, leave this all behind
This place won’t release you, they only see your crimes
But all Hopes not lost, when we have our faith
For Allah’s mercy always, overcomes His wrath
So you can be saved

I was on my way
Not even half but nowhere
The angels came to take my soul away
Oh the push and pull
The weight of all my sins
In the balance against my will to start again

But then God says measure the space, to where he’s closest to
Is it the hell he was running from
Or the place that was new
But God makes the earth move
So He can rescue you
For even if our sins, was like water in the ocean
Allah is most Merciful

So my story is told, for all lost souls
I have come back home, despite who I was
I never imagined, and now I behold
an ending so beautiful

The light descends, and never ends
And I’m not afraid
For Allah knows my name

Seerah Song

In the Name of the Most Merciful
for Whom these words are said,
We recount the noble Seerah
of His Prophet Muhammad

It had been six hundred years since the earth had seen
a guide,
From the time of the Messiah, who had not been crucified.
But before he was raised up, to Bani Israil, he said,
{After me will come a Messenger, whose name will
be Ahmad.}
In the centuries that followed, humankind had gone astray,
From the message of the prophets, and the pure and
natural Way.
They had turned to man-made idols out of ignorance
and pride,
Taking gods besides Allah, so that His Oneness was denied.

All the weak ones were oppressed and many wrongs were
seen as right;
In the darkness mankind wandered till Allah would send
His light.
On a bless-ed day in springtime, in the year called
‘Aam al-Fil,
In the desert town of Makkah was to come the Final Seal.
Abdullah, the Prophet’s father, never lived to see his son;
Aminah was honored by Allah to bear the chosen one.
Praised in Heaven and on Earth, he graced the world that
Monday morn;
Allah’s mercy filled the universe when Muhammad was
Born
He was son of ‘Abdullah, who was ‘Abdul Muttalib’s son,
Son of Hashim, then ‘Abdu Manaf, the brave and handsome
one;
Then Qusay, and then Kilab, then Murrah, then Ka’b,
then Lu’ay,
Son of Ghalib, son of Fi-hr, or Quraysh, as they would say.
To ‘Adnan, the father of the Arabs, trace his family tree,
For it leads to Ibrahim, through ‘Isma’il, his progeny.
So his light was passed from noble loins through wombs so
chaste and pure;
Once it came into the world, it would abide forevermore

As an infant, he was suckled by Halima after birth,
Turned away by other wet-nurses who did not know
his worth.
Though the Best of God's Creation seemed in front of
them, helpless,
Still a day would come when they would turn to him in
their duress.
Angels bathed his heart in Zamzam and replaced it
in his chest;
Those around him knew this bless-ed child was different from
the rest.
Raised by uncle Abu Talib after both his parents died,
Though an orphan in his early years, Allah was by his side.
He protected him and saved him from the evil and obscene;
So trustworthy was he known to be, they called him al-
Ameen.

Clouds would race to shade him and the trees would bow
down in respect;
Those bestowed with sacred insight knew that he was
the Elect.
As the prayer of Prophet Abraham and Jesus’s good news,
He was mentioned in the scriptures of the Christians and
the Jews.
He was noblest in his lineage, in virtue, without peers;
He was loved among his people till the age of forty years.
While the people worshipped many gods, he knew Allah
was One;
In a cave, he would pray to Allah, not seen by anyone.
Till one night, there came upon him revelation from Allah;
Jibra-il appeared before him as his heart was filled
with awe.
Then enveloped by the angel, he was squeezed; for breath,
he fought.
When the angel said,"Recite!"; all he replied was,
"I cannot!"
On the third time he was squeezed, he asked, "What shall I
then recite?!"
And Allah’s eternal Words came down, revealed to man that
night.

As the Prophet left the cave distressed, for home he
made a start.
There, he found his wife Khadijah; her support consoled his
heart.
Jibra-il would come to him with revelation, crystal clear:
As Allah's beloved Messenger, he had nothing to fear.
So, first quietly, then openly, the Prophet made his call,
That the people leave their pagan ways and witness one and
all:
That there’s no god but Allah, and by His will alone I speak;
He alone is whom we worship, and from Him all aid we seek!

He would call the people to Allah, and day and night implore:
{If you love Allah, then follow me; He’ll love you
even more…!}
Once, the pagans threw some waste on him as he bowed
down in prayer;
They were laughing while his daughter cried, but he did not
despair.
For Allah is with those people who put all their trust
in Him;
And the Lord was with his Prophet, peace and blessings
be on him.
One by one, the hearts began to turn towards the
guiding light,
As Islam rescued the downtrodden and gave to them
their right.
Though Bilal was tortured in the sun, Sumayyah put to death,
Still, they held tight to their faith and they would say till their
last breath…

After losing wife and uncle and the boycott of
his clan,
After Ta’if, where they’d stoned him, came a gift from al-
Rahman.
As he lay asleep beside the Noble Ka’bah in the night,
He was woken by the angel, and then taken up in flight.
Riding on Buraq, he made the journey that is called Isra,
To the city of Jerusalem, to Masjid al-Aqsa.
There, he led the prophets in a prayer, and chose milk over
wine;
Then ascended to the heavens for a tryst with the Divine.
Raised beyond the seven skies, so many wondrous sights
he saw,
Till he crossed the Furthest Lote-Tree, for his discourse
with Allah.
Sent back on that very night, he brought a gift for his
Ummah;
On the next day, Muslims stood with him to pray their
first Salah!

At the time of Hajj, the Prophet shared Islam with every clan;
When the Truth spread to Medinah, the Quraysh devised a
plan.
As they hatched the plot to kill him, came Allah’s divine
command:
For the Message to continue, he would have to leave his land.
And then he and Abu Bakr left their cherished home enroute,
To Medinah, for the Hijrah, with the pagans in pursuit.
As they hid inside a cave one time, a pagan almost saw, [but]
“What do you think of two people when the third one is
Allah?”

While the people were awaiting him, at last, the Prophet
came;
Light and joy filled all Madinah; it would never be the same!
Then from joining them in brotherhood and leading them in
prayer,
He made peace between the neighbors, teaching them with
love and care.
When at Badr they first met Quraysh, the angels came
and fought;
Then at Uhud, when mistakes were made, some lessons
would be taught.
They would fight for truth and justice, while upholding
chivalry.
They’d show strength when they were weak; when strong,
they would show clemency.
In the Battle of the Trench, they chose to fight defensively;
At the triumph of Hudaybiya, they used diplomacy.
So the Muslim Ummah grew with every test that it survived,
Till the time to liberate the town of Makkah had arrived.

Marching into Makkah unopposed, the Muslims now were
strong;
When the pagans saw the Prophet, they knew that they had
been wrong.
For so long they had oppressed him, now they feared he
would repay;
But he said, like Prophet Yusuf, "There's no blame on
you today."
As the idols at the Ka’bah fell, he said {Truth now appears,
And the falsehood has but perished; falsehood always
disappears.}
Then the people came to Truth, just as the prophecy foretold,
For Allah had sent Muhammad as a mercy to the world!

Then he went back to Madinah, choosing life with his Ansar,
But the was time fast-approaching, that they all had thought was far.
First, he told all his Companions that this Hajj would be
his last;
To adhere to all the things that he had taught them in the past.
Then, when seeing off a traveller, these parting words he gave:
“When you come next year you might find just my masjid and
my grave.”
When the time to part came closer, all the hearts were filled
with fear;
What will happen if he leaves us? In this world, there's none
more dear!
In his final illness, Abu Bakr led the daily prayer;
From his room, the Prophet smiled, giving one last look of care.
Then, as our beloved Prophet lay in Aisha's arms, he spoke:
"Guard your prayers, and fear Allah in how you treat your
servant-folk!"
Then, he gazed towards the heavens and began to say softly:
“Allahumma! Gather me into The Highest Company!” [x3]
And with that, the Prophet left this world; the universe
shed tears...

All the precious time they'd had with him had been the best of
years.
SECTION 13: LONGING FOR THE PROPHET (PEACE
AND BLESSINGS BE UPON HIM)
How I wish I'd met the Prophet to touch his soft hands
with mine,
Or to look upon his face, from which prophetic light would
shine!
Or to shield him when the rocks were thrown, so they'd
hit me instead!
But my consolation comes in what Rasul Allah had said:
“While my life was good for you, my death will be good for you
too:
I’ll be shown your deeds, so when I see a sin, I’ll pray for you.”
And he said, “O people, if you one day face calamity,
Find your strength by thinking of the pain you felt by losing
me.”
When he missed his brothers, his Companions asked,
"Then who are we?"
“Friends,” he said, “My brothers never saw me, yet
believed in me!”

If you long to meet the Messenger, then patience is the key;
At the start of the Hereafter, you will see him finally.
He will be the leader of humanity on Judgement Day;
After all, he was the Messenger when Adam was still clay.
When the prophets on that Day will only say, “Nafsi! Nafsi!”
He will plead before Allah, crying “My Ummah! Ummati!”
He will bow and praise Allah in words no one before
has said;
He’ll be granted Intercession as he lifts his noble head.
He will beg Allah to pardon us, so sinner don’t despair;
He won’t take his seat in heaven till his Ummah joins him there!
Allahumma join us with Your Chosen Prophet on the Day
When the world is resurrected, with the souls in disarray!
Let us gain his Intercession, when we’re taken to account!
Let us quench our thirst forever when we meet him at
his Fount!
When a man once asked for heaven in the Prophet’s company,
“Help me get you this,” he told him, “by prostrating frequently.”
If we fear that our good deeds are few, and sins stacked
high above,
Our last hope is, as he told us: "You'll be with the one
you

Because loving is believing, and our faith is not yet whole,
Till we love him more than parent, child, and
every single soul.
PRAISE FOR THE PROPHET ) )صلى الله عليه و سلم
Such a beautiful creation, mortal eyes had never seen
Nor had women given birth to one so perfect and pristine;
So complete in form and meaning, and from every blemish,
free,
As if he had been created, just the way he’d want to be.
Best of those who ever lived or ever walked upon the earth;
Sinless since the bless-ed day on which his mother gave
him birth.

He was one of Bani Adam, but between himself and them,
Was as though mankind were stones, and as though he, a
priceless gem.
Even if he had not come with any miracle or sign,
Just the sight of him would tell you that he came from
the Divine.
Never should we think that by these words the Prophet has
been praised;
Rather through his bless-ed mention, it’s our words that have
been raised.
For Allah Himself has praised him, when He said so perfectly

{Truly, you are on a station of sublime integrity!}
Joyous tidings to those who believed when he called to Allah;
Since he was the best of prophets, we became the best Ummah!

Jannah Single

Jannah Lyrics:

ولن ترى عينك في الدنيا مثل سماها
(And your eyes will never see a sky like it)

و تجري من تحتها انهار عدن تراها
(And you will see Rivers of Eden flowing underneath)

و عطرها مسك يريح هواها سلاما
(And its fragrance of musk leaves a trail of peace in the air)

فلن ياتي حلمك قربا بما قد رآها
(And your dreams will not come close to what you will see)

مع الحبيب ان اراه في ابوابها
(And to see the beloved (Muhammad pbuh) waiting at its gates)

وامتي ان اراها في دار السلام
(And to see the Ummah at the house of peace)

فيا اله
(And Oh Allah)

Just to see him standing with the Saaliheen welcoming them
Then he motions to me to come forward and drink from his hands
But i’ll be motionless, just staring at this most beautiful man
Who saved me from hell fire, pleading to Allah, Ya Ummati
So blessed slave, enter Jannah for eternity!

Look what Allahs mercy and blessings have brought
This is what you strived for, what you’ve sent forth

I wanna go
where no eye has never seen
No ear has never heard
No mind cant imagine

Paradise
No more tests, no more tears, no more trials
Paradise
Just to hold my mother in my arms
Paradise
Where I’ll gaze into my children’s eyes
Paradise
Gardens beneath where my rivers will flow
Paradise
Where nothing will hurt anymore

Cotton Candy Sky

In the deepest part of the ocean bed
A creature crawling on his belly knows that
Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
Riding on the crest of a wave in the sea
A dolphin squeaks and he whistles to me
Says Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
Every bird has a prayer that he knows so well
Praising Allāh in their very own tongues
Leaving their homes with Tawakkul Trusting in God’s plan
They do their best and Allāh fulfils
What is due for me is already written
So surrender and say to Allāh I belong
I say Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
On the golden plains of the Serengeti
A wise old elephant trumpets to me
Says Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
Underneath the Baobab tree
Where the cheetah lives and her cubs roam free
They say Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
Every living thing was made from water
Fashioned and perfected by Allāh
Some walk tall and some are small
And some lay deep on the ocean floor
So from the earth to the beautiful sky
The alternation of day and night
Signs in creation, we all shall die
To return to Allāh, Most Forgiving Most High
We say Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
When the vultures swoop down upon their prey
They cackle and they hackle but they all say the same
They say Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
In the murky waters of an old riverbed
Popping up his head, the hippopotamus said
Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
Have a look around the earth everywhere
Allāh’s creations made in noble pairs
We have each other as a garment to wear
Protection and comfort and burdens to bear
So how can we be oh-so-blind
To this wonderful world and its beautiful signs
We say Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
In the deepest crevice of my beating heart
A light shines bright overcoming the dark
I say Lā ilāha illAllāh
There is no God but Allāh
Whenever I am down, I look up to the sky
And I see the signs from Allāh, Most High
Most of all I see Light, endless Light upon Light
Mercy from Allāh who is yours and mine
Ar-Raẖmānir Raẖīm, Rabbal ‘Ālamīn
Bismillāh and again I begin

We are alone in the dark and I whisper I love you
Just a sheet of camphored calico lies between us
I’m trying so hard to keep it together
But I can’t let you go
I gonna miss you so much so
My worlds crashing over

The smell of your clothes that I hold in my hand reminds me
Of the gentle beautiful girl sent for the world to see
Doing your best despite the hardships
You never gave up, no no
Always looking up, you’d say we’d go on together

Chorus:
Whenever there was darkness there was you
The light of an angel shining through
To Allah we belong, To Him we return
As I carry you peacefully home I whisper
I’ll see you soon

The sound of whispered prayers and cries of mourning
The hugs of so many strangers but I’m still falling
Will I ever hear you call my name again
I wanna hear you say, hey hey
Its gonna be okay, this is not the end

Chorus:
Whenever there was darkness there was you
The light of an angel shining through
To Allah we belong, To Him we return
As I carry you gently home I whisper
I’ll see you soon

I am alone in the dark and I hear my heartbeat
If I close my eyes, I can feel your arms around me
Everything I see, I see through your eyes
This was never a goodbye
I’m living with your smile, my love
Safe in my heart

Chorus:
Whenever there was darkness there was you
The light of an angel shining through
To Allah we belong, To Him we return
As I carry you peacefully home I whisper
I’ll see you soon

Her eyes fade
Just like her yesterday
She looks at me and says
Help me to find my way

See I’ve lost everything
Help me to start again
And as I turn away from her
I can still hear her say

Is there anyone out there who hears me cry
Anyone beyond the shadows
There's nothing I can give you but my prayer
Don't you see, love sets us free

Chorus:
If you dare to believe
One heart can heal another
One hand can lift us higher
If you dare to believe
One voice brings hope
With one smile we save each other
If you dare

Verse 3:
Seem the worlds gone to ashes, dark and grey
If we all shine a light, it'll light up our way
Then we see beyond the color, we'll see across the line
We meant to learn about each other
Let love be the guide

Chorus:
If you dare to believe
One heart can heal another
One hand can lift us higher
If you dare to believe
One voice brings hope
With one smile we save each other
If you dare

Zain Bhikha
A long hard road you travel every day
So many struggles that you facing
But you gonna get through it anyway
Cos you just smile you going places

Chorus
You kicked down to the ground and you hurt and all hope is gone
Never ever give up, No you can't
Dust yourself off and Get Up Again
Cos when the time comes and you standing before your Lord
That's the only time that your truly win
Cos you never gave up, never gave in
So Get Up Again

Zain Bhikha
Fists clenched, mouth dry
But you cannot speak out, can't even cry

There will be some times in your life
Where the light dims, brightness is hard to attract
And in those tough times
Shaytaan will incline you lie down and not fight back
And when that pain heightens to the point of blindness
Worried if you'll make it through the night?
Know that there’s a God, that He allows hardship
To teach how to see with his guidance
Why does a muscle fiber have to break down
Before it grew stronger it needed that trial
Why does the spirit breathed into a womb
Require a mother wounded, before the miracle of life blooms
So know a light looms at the end of the tunnel
If we don't stop digging, got to see it all the way through
Deep in the dirt where we find jewels
And pressure makes gold when the fire cools
See the signs, you are more than what is hurting you
Ya Allah! Let us rise to the occasion
Strive to be amazing

There’s a place I go
Where Allah only knows
It’s His house, my home
Where my heart overflows

In the stillness of this place
In the midst of all the faces
It’s just me and my Creator
And I know I’m not alone

I raise my hands up to the sky
He has the answers to my where and why
He gave me this blessing
So I can stand here and ask Him
Show me the way, show me the way

Chorus One:
In the name of Allah, Most Merciful
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Only You do I turn and ask for help
Iyyaka Na’ Budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta’een
Show me the straight path
The path of those you favour
Aameen Ya Allah, Accept my Salaah

It’s seem like time stands still
I surrender everything
All my faults and all my failures
I know Allah is listening

So He takes away my fears
All the burdens that I bear
For everything lies in His Hands
I feel peace when I am here

I raise my hands up to the sky
And from deep inside I feel alive
And all my hurt and pain subsides
With my head upon the ground I cry
Show me the way, show me the way

Chorus (Two):
All Praise to Allah, Lord of the Worlds
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen
Glory be to Allah, Most Great, Most High
Subhana Rabbiyal A’la, Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem
Sami’Allahu Liman Hamida
Allah hears the prayers of those who praise Him
Aameen Ya Allah, Accept my Salaah
He’s doors of mercy’s never closed
So we come as lost souls
Taking refuge from our storms
And we can never be alone
So there’s this place I go

Chorus Three:
In the name of Allah, Most Merciful
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Only You do I turn and ask for help
Iyyaka Na’ Budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta’een
Show me the straight path
Ihdinas Seeratal Mustaqeem
Aameen Ya Allah, Accept my Salaah

One shinning day, was if time froze
Thousands await, as the Prophet he rose
Did the mountains tremble, from the weight of his words
Cause till now we remember, his farewell to the world

Chorus:
He said Oh people, please lend an ear
Cause I don't know if I'll be with you after this year
Listen closely to these words I will say
Convey them to those who could not be here today
That's you and I

As he spoke the people listened in awe
He began by thanking and praising Allah
And then he said, Oh people, the life of each one
Is as sacred, as holy as this land in this month

Do not hurt others and no harm comes to you
Cause one day you’ll return to your Lord for what is due
Oh people, be fair and be just
With the property of all those who give you their trust

And leave all usury, this money from loans
Never harm people, just keep what you own
Cause in things that are major, Satan knows that he fails
But beware of the devil in the little details

Chorus:
He said Oh people, please lend an ear
Cause I don't know if I'll be with you after this year
Listen closely to these words I will say
Convey them to those who could not be here today
That's you and I

As for women, they have rights over you
To provide for their needs and let your kindness ensue
They are your partners, so watch what you do
They too should be faithful and always be true

Oh people, worship your Lord
Pray five times a day, and fast in Ramadhaan
Always give in charity, what you can afford
And the pilgrimage to Makkah, if you can to the house of your Lord

All of mankind is from Adam and Eve
None of you are better, except in good deeds
No others over Arabs, no Arabs over others
No white versus black, we’re all sisters and brothers

Chorus:
He said Oh people, please lend an ear
Cause I don't know if I'll be with you after this year
Listen closely to these words I will say
Convey them to those who could not be here today
That's you and I

Oh people, one day you'll meet your Lord,
So respect all property, what’s yours is yours
And remember there’ll be a day that you'll stand with your deeds
So don’t stray from the path of God after I leave.

Oh people, no new Prophet will come
no new faith will be born, after this one
I leave you two things, you never will stray
The Holy Quran and the example I laid

It’s the Holy Quran and the guidance I gave
So pass these words to those not here today
And may the last one who hear it, grasp it better this way
Oh Lord! Bear witness, Your message I have conveyed

Verse 1
If I got some money for every tear that I shed
I'd cry myself an ocean and I'd sail on ahead
I’d sail the oceans wide just to give away my money
To dry up all the tears of the people that I met
And we'll sail towards that rainbow that will take away our fears
Me upon my boat upon the ocean of my tears

Bridge 1
And I say hey, hey
Bring on the good news
And I say hey, hey
We're all be going soon
And I say hey, hey
We got no time for fools
Who lay an anchor in the ground
Trying hard to stick around
But we on a rock just floating by
On a cosmic symphonic tide
And there aint no such thing as goodbye
I’ll see you on that side

Chorus:
La ilaha illAllahu
La ilaha illAllah
La ilaha illAllahu
Muhammadur Rasulullah

Verse 2
If I got a penny for every word that I spoke
That will make somebody happy, I'd sing with all my throat
And you can be my voice, and together we'll find words
To bring smiles like flowers falling upon a barren earth

Bridge 2
And I say hey, hey
Bring on the good news
And I say hey, hey
We're all be going soon
Like those who sailed before me
Left a ripple in the water
To help us find a way
And to follow forever
And for that we say Peace to the Messenger
Salla ‘ala Muhammad

Chorus:
La ilaha illAllahu
La ilaha illAllah
La ilaha illAllahu
Muhammadur Rasulullah

Verse 3
If I got a treasure for every hand that I held
That will make a child feel loved, love they never felt
I’d grab a million hands, and hold them in my own
To make sure that every child had a happy home

Bridge 3
And I say hey, hey
Bring on the good news
And I say hey, hey
We're all be going soon
Don’t lay an anchor in the water
We go on and on forever
So enjoy the ride, just floating by
On this cosmic symphonic tide
Cos there aint no such thing as goodbye
I’ll see you on that side

Chorus:
La ilaha illAllahu
La ilaha illAllah
La ilaha illAllahu
Muhammadur Rasulullah

Bridge 4:
I don’t need no treasure nor this worldly wealth
Cos I am on my way, I’ll take my faith nothing else
So while I’m in this world, make the most of my life
I’ll give all of my time and love to everyone else

So these are stories, they tell no lies
Lessons that stand through the test of time
They tell us of a path that remains so true
Before a Wolf or a Cow or Monkey gets you!

The Story of the Monkey
Once was a wicked guy
Sold people lots of lies
Showed something whole
Cut it half, then he stole
Know that's a no no!
To others it's a low blow
Be fair and be just is the only way to go
But then Allah sent him a monkey
That he loved more than life itself
What he didn't know, wherever he would go
The monkey purified his wealth
Unbeknown to him, he thought he was free
Of his lies and his cheating but this could not be
His little friend, cleansed every little cent
And fifty percent of his wealth
The monkey threw into the sea

So it may be later, it may be soon
But some day there's a monkey gonna come for you
Allah hates cheating, Allah hates lies
So give what’s due and receive what’s right

The Story of the Cow
Once was a farmer, who brought lots of drama
Working his animals harder and harder
Saw them as nothing but low life creatures
To bow to his bidding and to build his riches
He had a cow that he'd overload
And on top of that, on top of the cow he rode
So one day, to his enormous surprise,
The cow spoke right before his eyes
He said Oh man, this yoke I wear
I was not created for this burden I bear
You cannot abuse me, no longer you see
For our Creator has allowed me to speak
So be kind to both animals and human beings

So it may be later, it may be soon
But someday there's a cow gonna talk to you
Allah made animals, Allah made man
To all living creatures be kind and fair

The Story of the Wolf
Once was a shepherd who loved his sheep
He cared day and night, even deprived of his sleep
Any little sound, any little bleat bleat!
Off he ran real fast just to save his sheep
Then one day there came the big bad wolf
Sneaking and creeping for a closer look
And suddenly wham! He grabbed one lamb!
And tried to run away to his faraway land
But little did he know, the shepherd wasn’t slow
Chasing and chasing until the wolf let go
But then wolf spoke, he said Oh beware
Someday you'll be gone, I'll be coming back here
And between them and me, there'll be no one to stand
And the wolf will be the shepherd of the lambs

So it may be later, it may be soon
But someday there's a wolf gonna try to take you
Be strong in faith and to your shepherd be true
Allah keep us safe when the wolf breaks through

Chorus
So these are stories, they tell no lies
Lessons that stand through the test of time
They tell us of a path that remains so true
Before a wolf or a cow or monkey gets you!

Allāh has given me a Cotton Candy Sky
A little bit of blue, pink, purple and white
I sometimes see the grey and I sometimes feel the rain
But I’ll see the colours of the Cotton Candy Sky again
I see the red of my mother’s love
The true blue of my father’s hugs
I see the orange of my siblings smile
I see the pink and the white of the love of my life
And the deep, deep green that all children bring
Are the coolness of my eyes
Whenever I am down, I look up to the sky
And I see the signs from Allāh, Most High
Most of all I see Light, endless Light upon Light
Mercy from Allāh who is yours and mine
Ar-Raẖmānir Raẖīm, Rabbal ‘Ālamīn
The Most Merciful Lord of the Worlds
Bismillāh [In the name of Allāh] and again I begin
I see the yellow like a sunflower smile
Of an orphan girl who says Alẖamdulillah
Praise be to God
Or a mother who lost her child
Sees them waiting on a throne of gold so high
Or a father who holds his stride
Working hard every day and is firm in his faith
Burning bright like a beautiful crimson flame
Says Allāh keep my family safe
Of course there are times
Both yours and mine
When the tears in our eyes
Sting and blur out the light
But these lows bring the highs
Of the strength I have inside
To always see my Cotton Candy Sky
Allāh has given me a Cotton Candy Sky
A little bit of blue, pink, purple and white
I sometimes see the grey and I sometimes feel the rain
But I’ll see the colours of the Cotton Candy Sky again

Spoken Word by Dawud Wharnsby
“It is narrated that during the death sickness of the Prophet (pbuh) while the people were praying, the Prophet (pbuh) drew back his curtain and stood looking at them. They say his face was intensely illuminating, and there was nothing more beautiful than His face when he
looked at them on that day. And then... He smiled. He signaled to them to continue the Salāh and then he closed his curtain. The Prophet
(pbuh) passed away later that day…

Darkness fell upon Madīnah tonight, people cried
For God had given his beloved messenger a choice
For so long, he had struggled now he'd won
The hearts of the best believers, a generation so strong

Chorus:
He drew back the curtain and He gazed
Upon those He loved the most and He smiled
His face was shining like the moon
There was nothing more beautiful than the light He brought to this world

Looking back now over 23 years
His message changed the world
People living lost in the wilderness
Darkness over all

He came to revive the dead hearts He awoke
He brought justice, peace and love
With amazing words from God that He spoke

Chorus:
He drew back the curtain and He gazed
Upon those He loved the most and He smiled
He knew that they’d come so far
Did so much to get close to Him and Allah

Gazing out at those standing in prayer
His face like the moon
For they were the fruit of his life’s work
Reviving the truth

Right then He knew that his mission was complete
For through these faces before him, the word of God will forever live

Chorus:
So He drew back the curtain and He gazed
Upon those He loved the most and He smiled
He knew that they’d come so far
Did so much to get close to Him and Allah

What if he was standing right in front of me
Would he cry
Would he take my hand and embrace me in his arms
With tears in his eyes
Would he say to me
Why did you abandon my way
Did you not love me enough
Would he turn and walk away

If He drew back the curtain and He gazed
upon my life today
Over a thousand years later and here I am
Trying oh so hard
There is nothing I wouldn't do
For that moment in time
Just to see him smile

Chorus:
Just like He drew back the curtain and He gazed
Upon those He loved the most and He smiled
His face was shining like the moon
There was nothing more beautiful than the light He brought to the world

The air is still, sun light comes in
And the mountains are alive
As I walk upon a desert road
Feel a stirring deep within
How can I explain such overwhelming peace
Yet I can’t remain still, my heart’s quivering
In this Land of Revelation
Here I am Allāh
For no one but You
Labbayk Allāhumma I am at Your service, O Allah
I surrender to You
As a slave to the Master
I know no other
Allāh, here I am
In this Land of Revelation
Sacred place on earth, a most blessed birth
A child of light within
Cleansed by the Angels, so many favours
Allāh placed on Al Amīn The Trusted One
And there’s none in the seven heavens
That doesn’t know his name
For Muḥammad is perfection, sent to lead the way
From this Land of Revelation
This heavenly stone, placed in its home
By the hands of the Chosen One
Oh I hear it cry, just one more time
For a kiss from Rasūlullāh The Messenger of Allāh
Is this where he prayed for us at the station of Ibrāhīm
For Muḥammad was pure mercy
Raẖmatul-lil’ālamīn Mercy to all creation
In this Land of Revelation
From the silence, my soul rises
To the call of the adhān The call to prayer
I imagine how beautiful
Was the voice of Bilāl
And for the first time in my life, I finally feel at home
In this city of Rasūlullāh, ṣallAllāhu ‘alayhi wasallam
May God bless him and grant him peace
And this Land of the Revelation
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā
Sayyidinā Muḥammad
Wa ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi
Wa bārik wa sallim
O Allāh, send your peace and blessings upon
Muḥammad, his progeny, his family and his companions
Allāhumma antassalām wa minkassalām
O Allāh, You are the source of peace
and from You comes peace

Ya Mu’izzu [The Honourer], Ya Ḥakīm The All-Wise
Ya Rabb-ul-‘ Ālamīn Lord of the Worlds
Ya Kabīru [The Most Grand], Ya Jalīl The Majestic
Ya Karīm [The Most Generous], Ya Ḥamīd
The Praiseworthy
Ya ‘Afūw [The Pardoner], Ya Ra’ūf The Most Kind
Ya Nūr [The Illuminator], Ya Bāqī The Everlasting
As a slave to the Master
I know no other
Allāh, here I am
In this Land of Revelation

The blazing fire burned like the sun
And all he claimed was God is one
And there was no one by his side
His heart was strong, his faith was right
The friend of Allāh, Ibrāhīm, knew
God’s promise will stand true, he said
Ḥasbun'Allāhu wa ni’mal wakīl
Allāh is Sufficient for us and He is the
Best Disposer of Affairs for us
Allāh is enough for me
As I stand here alone, I have nothing to fear
For I trust in Allāh, He is all that I need
Fearlessly he faced the pharaoh
Pleading, let my people go
For you are not our Lord, the One
Who commands the moon, commands the sun
The Prophet Mūsā stood firm and free
His faith took them towards the sea, he said
Ḥasbun'Allāhu wa ni’mal wakīl
Allāh is enough for me
My Lord, open the way, our lives in your hands
Show us your mercy, You are all that we have
She lay alone her baby born
How would she face the people’s scorn
For she was chaste, not touched before
By any man, her life so pure
The greatest woman that ever lived
Maryam held a miracle, she said
Ḥasbun'Allāhu wa ni’mal wakīl
Allāh is enough for me
As we lay here alone, this gift given to me
A great messenger, oh my son you will be
He faced an army filled with hate
His only message was God is great
But all they did was drive him out
A thousand strong now to end his light
Muḥammad stood, so few by his side
He turned and eased the fear in their eyes, he said
Ḥasbun'Allāhu wa ni’mal wakīl
Allāh is enough for me
Do not forsake us, O Lord, make our hearts firm today
If these few of us fail, who will call out Your Name
And Allāh heard his call, sent the Angels to him
When he said
Ḥasbun'Allāhu wa ni’mal wakīl
With all that I go through in this life
There’s nothing that can shake my faith
For Allāh is all that anyone needs
Just say
Ḥasbun'Allāhu wa ni’mal wakīl
Allāh is enough for me

There is so much I feel
Is it just getting wasted
I have so much to say
Is there nobody listening
Is this all just a dream
Am I really living

Then I feel Allah is near
And then I feel no fear

Chorus
And then I call His name
And I know Allah won’t forsake me
Though I may fall, I won’t fail
And I know nothing can break me

I carry so many tears
To build me an ocean
And on a night that is clear
I surrender emotion
I know my Allah is near
And my heart is wide open

So sail on, through this storm
Sail on, to the dawn

Chorus
And then I call His name
And I know Allah won’t forsake me
Though I may fall, I won’t fail
And I know nothing can break me
And then I’m Free
Free

Bridge
So many fears that haunt me
Wanna run away
I try my best to get closer
Feel so far away
I close my eyes and He’s near

Chorus
And then I call His name
And I know Allah won’t forsake me
Though I may fall, I won’t fail
And I know nothing can break me

Did He not find me alone
And from the darkness He guided
For Allah hears. He Knows
And in the silence He comforts me

And then I’m Free
I’m Free

Close your eyes my little angel
Close your eyes my baby boy

The world outside seems cold and heartless
filled with brimstone, fire and rain
but here in my arms, we safe in silence
and I will chase your fears away

Close your eyes my little angel
Close your eyes my baby girl

I wanna know
How do you feel
‘Cause I’d like you to show
Your story untold
So don’t be afraid
Just let it go
I’ll ease your pain
As our story unfolds
I know life can be hard
But I am here by your side
So let your tears flow
‘Cause I wanna know
Ça c’est la vie
This is life
And I’ll be by your side
Like the shore meets the tide
So take hold of me
My love is infinity
‘Cause there in your smile
Lies my destiny
I know who you are
Strong as a mountain
An undeniable star
That shines on forever
But even mountains can crumble
And stars fade away
But you’re my forever
Somehow we’ll be okay
I see that you’ve come so far
You’ve struggled oh so hard
Don’t face your fears alone
‘Cause I wanna know
I see you so fragile
My beautiful angel
My blessing, you brought out
The best out in me
You’re my tomorrow
‘Cause when I look at you
My future in Jannah Gardens of paradise
You’ve helped me to see
I know it’s hard
No one could ever understand
The struggles that you face
Please know I lend my hand
Forever made for yours
Intertwined, made to hold
Lock and load, come what may
I’ll never let you go
‘Cause you are what makes me
I’m forever grateful
For every moment
To raise you, to praise you
To always be there
To always love you
My beautiful angel
So take hold of me
My love is infinity
‘Cause there in your smile
Lies my destiny
Ça c’est la vie

Where are all the kings of old, where are all the gods
They sat upon a mighty throne
Where's their arrogance gone
To dust, to dust

Where is the rejected one
Stood tall and questioned why
Thought he was better than clay
For he was made of fire
Respite, Respite

Chorus:
But Allah remains
Allah Remain
Allah Remains

Everything we cherish
Every test and pain
Everything we tried to gain
Everything we steer away
Everything will perish
But Allah remains

Where are all the tyrants gone
Those who killed in rage
Who thought that they would live forever
And they would never age
The graves, the graves

Where are all the righteous ones
Revivers of the truth
Who came and shook the status quo
And changed the world for good
At peace, at peace

Chorus

Where will all the mountains go
When fire fills the skies
And the angel blows his trumpet once
And all creation's dies
Silence, Silence

Everything we cherish
Every test and pain
Everything we tried to gain
Everything we steer away
Everything will perish
But Allah remains

I observe, I stare and see, spectator on the earth,
I leaf through books of history, to try and find my worth.
But I believe my soul to be, a gift of Allah's grace
, And the timeless nature can't be tied to worldly time or space.
And when I have left this shell behind, and this world's done with me
And my soul returns to God, for all eternity
That day, Will I, be free

Everything we cherish
Every test and pain
Everything we tried to gain
Everything we steer away
Everything will perish
But Allah remains

Chorus
But Allah remains
Allah Remain
Allah Remains

Hey little fish in the bottom of the ocean
Moving along in a really cool motion
Did you ever wonder where you came from
Who is the lord of all creation
The little fish said, “That’s my Lord”
“Allāh the Creator of us all”
Hey little bird so way up high
Light up the sky with your colour design
Tell me who made you and I
Me to walk and you to fly
The little bird said, “That’s my Lord”
“Allāh the Creator of us all”
Allāhu Akbar God is Most Great
Our Creator
There’s no one greater
Than Allāh
So why do we stand tall
Too proud to recognize
What’s right before our eyes
Signs from our Lord
Hey, alligator, laying so still
Who’s your Maker, by who’s will
Do you crawl and do you swim
Who controls everything
The alligator said “That’s my Lord”
“Allāh the Creator of us all”
Hey, king of the jungle, the mighty lion
Top of the food chain, no denying
But who is the One that you rely on
Life or death who is deciding
The Lion said “That’s my Lord”
“Allāh the Creator of us all”
Hey my brother, hey my sister
See yourself as self sustainer
But don’t you see what will come later
We all return to the Creator
Then we’ll say “That’s my Lord”
“Oh Allāh, forgive us all”
I travelled the world, north to the south
East to the west and there ain’t no doubt
Whoever I see, whatever I’ve found
I can hear them sing out loud
Alḥamdullillāh, praise my Lord
Allāh the Creator of us all
Allāh made everything
You and I
Allāh made everything
The earth and the blue sky
But do we remember Him
Thank Him for everything
Surrender to only Him
With all our lives

Songs of a Soul

You told me, I can never be anything
But I’ll show you, there’s nothing that I cannot be
If I put my trust in Him

Chorus
Gonna find my own voice yeah,
I’m gonna make my own way
He’s the only reason
I’m gonna find a Better Day
In between all the noises
Underneath all the pain
He’s the only reason, I’m gonna find a Better Day

You left me, with no return in sight
A hollow scream in the middle of the night
So wont you please, let go of me inside
I need to spread my soul and fly

Chorus

I’m gonna try right now, find the strength somehow
It aint easy for me, oh you broke me down
But I don’t hate you at all, there’s still love in my heart
Oh the reason we fall, is to rise

Chorus

I see your face across the place that’s burning
By the fire of what we fear the most
Where is the rain that brings the mercy
Shower down and drench us to the bone

Chorus:
I dream of the day,
we’ll look into each others eyes
I dream of the way,
we’ll see the same soul inside
We’ll cross the deepest water
Find a place for you and I

Salaam, Salaam Salaamun Salaam
Salaam. Salaam, Salaamun Salaam

In our deepest, darkest hour of the night
Different colours bind to make the purest light
Finally free in our submission
To the One with whom our hearts reside

Gaze into the deepest well
Find a pearl within the hardest shell
See reflections of ourselves

Salaam, Salaam Salaamun Salaam
Salaam. Salaam, I dream we’ll see that day
Salaam, Salaam Salaamun Salaam
Salaam. Salaam, Somehow we find our way
Salaam, Salaam Salaamun Salaam

Social expectation drowns us all inside
What you have should be what I want
‘Cause what I have just ain’t alright
The clothes I wear, the way I comb my hair
How I live, oh I don’t care
This is who I am, this is me
Nothing, everything, can’t you see
Who I am, just let me be
‘Cause like it or not but God loves me
Who I am
He said, she said, they all did
What’s expected of them all
To get to the top don’t matter
If somebody’s gotta fall
You gotta brace the storm, the norms to conform
Get what you wants’ gonna kill us all
Beyond the body that you see
There’s so much more to me
And I feel best when my soul is free
They tell me this is the way, that I need to reform
If I continue to stray, I’m gonna start up a storm
Wear this, drive that, like this, not that
Don’t dare lose track or you’ll fall way back
But if my Lord loves me
Then I know that I’m free
You can say what you want, just let me be
I know if I’m real and it’s not a disguise
You’ll love who I am if you open up your eyes
I insist that you see, I ain’t a mystery
It’s who I wish to be, yo this is me
It’s what’s true within, come and look again
Looking through the skin
Who I am
This is who I am, this is me
Nothing, everything, can’t you see
Who I am, just let me be
‘Cause like it or not but God loves me
Who I am

When you smile at me
I see my whole life fade
All my fears dissipate
And I know that I, will be okay

When you hold my hand
I can walk a hundred miles
Leave this whole world behind
And I know that I
Will be alright

Cos you see in me, the best that I can be
Like an angel your light shines, a beacon in the sea

Chorus:
I’m the king of the world
With you by my side
And the love that I have for you
Is too much to hide
I will cherish you
For the rest of my life
I’m so glad that you’re mine

When you came to me
I was lost and all alone
Searching for my rainbow
And no matter how I tried
I couldn’t find my way home

But you gave me a chance
Despite what everybody said
He’ll break your heart in the end
But you held out your hand
Made me your man

And just when I was kind of going insane
When out of my slumber, I heard you whisper my name

I’m the king of the world
I have you in my world
So much to give to the world
But my place in the world
is with you

He stepped inside his home
He was overwhelmed with fear
An angel came with words from God
Things were still unclear
Saying “Read, Read,” but he could not read
Amazing words that he heard
A trembling deep inside his heart
Confused by what had occurred
There was only one who could comfort him
To help him see the light
To ease his fears, to reassure
Was Khadījah, his wife
He said Zamilooni, Zamilooni Cover me, cover me
Dathirūni, Dathirūni Wrap me, wrap me
A mighty task has come before me
I need you here with me, by my side
She was a woman of nobility, successful in all her trade
Many wealthy men had asked for her
She turned them all away
But when she saw Muẖammad, a shining moon
May peace be on his soul
He was a light for her, so right for her
Her life will now be whole
But she had never seen him so distressed
As he was there that day
She would comfort him, and hold him tight
And chase his doubts away
We look for stories of love
In places dark and cold
When we have a guiding light
For the whole world to behold
But we're so selfish in our ways
To the ones we hold so close
Our own pleasure and happiness
Is what we value most
But she sacrificed all her wealth
And everything she had
And he honoured her and gave her faith
when the times were bad, when times were bad
Now years have passed, times had changed
Since Khadījah breathed her last
And the message of the one true God
Was spreading far and vast
But then he came across some jewellery
That Khadījah once had worn
His eyes began to swell with tears
His heart again began to mourn
‘Cause she was there for him
When the times were rough
And his enemies were cruel
She was the first Believer, so keen and eager,
To comfort Ar-Rasūl The Messenger
When he said
Zamilooni, Zamilooni
Dathirūni, Dathirūni
A mighty task has come before me
I need you here with me, by my side

She wakes up early in the morning with a smile
And she holds my head up high
Don’t you ever let anybody put you down
Cos you are my little angel

Then she makes something warm for me to drink
Cos it’s cold out there, she thinks
Then she walks me to school, Yes I aint no fool
I just think my Mom is amazing

BRIDGE/CHORUS

She makes me feel
Like I can do anything
and when she’s with me
there’s no where else, I’d rather be…

After School, she’s waiting by the gate
I’m so happy that I just can’t wait
To get home to tell her how my day went
And eat the yummy food, only my Mom makes

Then I wind her up cos I don’t wanna bath
And we run around the house with a laugh
No matter what I say, she gets her way
I think my Mom is amazing

BRIDGE/CHORUS

In the evening, she tucks me into bed
And I wrap my arms around her head
Then she tells me a tale of a girl far away
Who one day became a princess

I‘m so happy, I don’t want her to leave
So she lies in bed with me
As I close my eyes, how lucky am I
To have a Mom that’s so amazing

BRIDGE/CHORUS

Then I wake up in the morning, she’s not there
And I realize she never was
And I’m still here in this lonely orphanage
With so many just like me

And as my dreams begin to fade
I try hard to look forward to my day
But there’s a pain in my heart that’s a craving
How I wish I had a Mom that’s amazing
Would be amazing

As we sail, across the sea of life
So much pain, warring divides
It’s a shame; we don’t see how it can be

CHORUS

Oh we need to smile at each other
Reach for your brother
Help one another, all/what we need is love
Oh we need to honour our mothers
Shelter our sisters
Alter existence, God’s help will come from up above
But, First we need the love

All the games people playing now
Fuel the flames, hatred devours
Lets spark a change, that’s within all of us

CHORUS (x2)

RAP

i am in the birds
i am in the trees
from the brown branches
to the the green leaves
im colorful
spectrum infinite
i touch all
indiscriminate
breed compassion and sentiment
limitless in my power to heal
the hearts of men
but they are so forgetful
that's why i remind on an instrumental
this life is a trial
can never the let the test effect your smile
reach for your brother go the extra mile
kiss for ya mother hug your sister let your wife know that you miss her
know that you can never give up
when you fall to the floor im the reason you must get up
love
im a blessing from God
So why you dont use me more is so odd
you need love!
we need love!

Chorus:
80 beats a minute, beats a minute going by
There ain't nothing in it, someday soon we gonna die
Cos from the beginning, at the start of our lives
Allah Decides

Verse 1
tick tock....cant stop the clock
never know when you gotta go
never know when it's gonna stop
pop pop, and then you drop
your countdown begins since before you were born
don't let a moment slip by that you'll regret when your gone
losing 80 beats a minute, 400 for this song
tomorrow isn’t promised
This life ain't really long
the one that’s comin after is the one that truly matters wait stop…
missing a beat, drawing the heat
gotta conspire to change your life or its the fire we eat
cos time is but a token every mans at a loss
don’t matter if you young or old , you never know what you got
so with every living, breathing, beating moment that your're given turn attention
to the one who grants your heart the permission
before your clock stops tickin

Verse 2
Thump Thump, every heart beat pump
they saying stop me chump, now you got me stumped!
These young thugs, being hard, living life on edge,
Doing drugs, being scarred by delusions of their age
they’re their own slave master, Do anything they can to make
their hearts pumping faster, No fear of disaster
Tick tick tock, it’s a count down timer,
Quick, now stop, take a lesson from a rhymer
80 beats per minute, but as youth we feel infinite
From the up-beat in the beginning, every symphony has been written
Cos God’s controlling the pulse, counting the throbs, even the strokes
Every half-note and quiver, has been written in the books
when that last beat drum’s, all your past deeds comes,
Good deeds will only matter, better best bring some...

Verse 3
4800 an hour, 100 000 a day
that's 42 million per annum, man you aint got time to play
cos praying is what pays when investing in heaven
drop the cocaine and the clubs, and the vices of Satan
cos he is the one that diverts you, yeah
till you visit the graves then realise a life of virtue
So, sieze the day, make it count, make a change
believe in Allah, His angels, books, the last day
the greatest of man, all the prophets who came...
until Muhammad the last, Peace be upon him we say
Predestination the plan...penned by God’s almighty Hand
Heaven awaits those who contemplate and understand

Slowly slow my child
The world waits for you
And your window of time
Will come shining through
Slowly slow, don’t rush you know
It’ll all come easy
There’s some things you can’t take back
No regrets for what you gonna get
Needs some thinking down the line
Slowly slow my darling
I’m here for you
And every stumble, every fall
Breaks my heart in two
I only want the best for you
And every step makes up the mile
Even though it takes a while
And God will always smile on you my child
So have faith, have faith
Just like the bird who feels the sun
And sings before the dawn has come
Have faith, have faith
Slowly slow my boy
I see you’re strong
And everybody wants to find
A place where they belong
But don’t you find yourself someday
In a cold and dark and lonely place
And you wonder how you got there
I know it gets clouded in your mind
And you wanna move faster
It seems you’re running out of time
But I love you
Together we’ll get through
Don’t you know
Slowly slow
Slowly slow my son
You wanna be a man
And I guess those days are gone
When I used hold your hand
Cause this is the age of winks and smiles
And butterflies deep inside
But you’ll always be the coolness of my eyes
Slowly slow my child
The world waits for you
And your window of time
Will come shining through
Slowly slow, don’t rush you know
It’ll all come easy

Oh Mountains of Makkah, what can you say
Of the day that Abraham passed your way
And He was instructed by God to build
A House of peace where people will pray
And they will come on every lean
camel and out of every ravine
For the purpose of praising Allāh
To glorify Allāh
Oh Mountains of Makkah, what can you tell
Of the day that stones from the sky fell
Destroying an army determined to break
The House of Allāh that Abraham built
Oh Mountains of Makkah, how was the dawn
On the day that my Prophet Muẖammad was born
How did it feel knowing he was to be
The last and most beloved of all
Rasūl [Messenger] of Allāh, Nabī [Prophet] of Allāh
Oh Mountains of Makkah, you were there
When the Prophet Muẖammad climbed down in despair
Engraved in his heart were the words of his Lord
To all of mankind, this was his call
Lā ilāha illaAllāh, Muẖammad-ur-Rasūlulllāh
There is no God but Allāh, Muẖammad is His Messenger
Oh people praise only Allāh, glorify Allāh
Oh Mountains of Makkah, how did you mourn
On the day that the beloved returned to his Lord
And up ‘till the last breath escaped from his lips
He prayed that his ummah Community of Muslims
Would find success
Oh Mountains of Makkah how will it feel
When the earth shall quake and tremble with fear
And we shall be gathered together to stand
In the court of Allāh with our deeds at hand
Oh how we pray that on that day
We’ll be with those to whom Allāh will say
Peace be with you, I am pleased with you
Oh Mountains of Makkah, bear witness that I
To the oneness of Allāh do I testify
For all that He’s given me, how can I deny
My purpose in life should be only to cry
Lā ilāha illaAllāh, Muẖammad-ur-Rasūlulllāh
There is no God but Allāh, Muẖammad is His Messenger
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muẖammad-ur-Rasūlulllāh
O Allāh, bless Muẖammad, Your Messenger
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muẖammad Nabī Allāh
O Allāh, bless Muẖammad, Your Prophet
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muẖammad Rasūlilllāh
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muẖammad, Rasūl of Allāh

He is the benevolent, the giving and merciful
he’s so indescribable, his love is irreversible
his word is undeniable, lyrically un try able, ultimately viable, eternally suppliable
may be inconceivable but beautifully believable
the true reality, there’s no similarity
gave us more than charity, peace and prosperity
we didn’t even care to see if we could keep his clarity, yes, He’s incomparable yet his parables
infinitely listed pictures couldn’t give a good description depictions missing, but he created all the living in every dimension, and he
inspired what I’m giving, the giver of wisdom, devoid of any need
Anything that he wants, all he has to say is be
cuz he’s the untouchable the infinitely trustable
his plan is unstoppable, power un toppable
the reliable, undeniable, greater than the physical
master of the mystical

Salamun, salamun, salamun, salam.

We made peace a symbol of ours;
in the name of peace we gather here now.
O Lord! please make these days of ours on this earth
filled with peace.
Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful peace
Salamun, salamun, salamun, salam.

Ja’alna - as-sala -ma shi’a -run lana -;

So Lord, indeed! You are as-Salam,
from You comes salam and with You is salam,
To You belongs the command of all things;
between Your hands are the hearts of all beings

So Lord, indeed! You are as-Salam,
from You comes salam and with You is salam
To You belongs the command of all things;
between Your hands are the hearts of all beings
English chorus

Fa ya Rabbu innaka anta as-Sala -m;
wa minka as-Salamu wa ‘indaka as-Salam.
Li amrika yarji’u amru al-ana -m,
wa bayna yadayka qulubu al-Anam.

Ya Allah c’est toi sans doute la paix
C’est toi qui la donne et toi qui la détient
Le destin des hetres que tu as creés
Et celui des coeurs se trouve entre tes mains

Performed by Zain Bhikha
She was just standing there,
little girl all alone
Barely covered head to toe,
barely just twelve years old,
Why is she all alone,
why’s the world just so cold,
Why don’t we play our part,
what has hardened our hearts?
What has hardened our hearts?

Underneath the waterfall,
million dollar shopping mall,
Two boys play their games,
helps to keep them nice and warm,
Thousand people walking by,
feeding their vain desire
Don’t they see, are they blind,
Allah loves the orphan child
Allah loves the orphan child

Like our Beloved Muhammad, Peace be upon Him
He was an orphan and Allah sheltered him
What status is given to these children…children?

Just by the riverside,
right next to that orphan child,
Families come to play,
they don’t see that’s where she stays,
Looking through empty eyes,
who cares that she might die,
O my child, don’t you cry,
Allah loves you more than I,
Allah Loves you more than.

She was just standing there,
barely just twelve years old,
What has hardened our hearts,
why’s the world just so cold

When you feel all alone in this world
And there’s nobody to count your tears
Just remember, no matter where you are
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
When you're carrying a monster load
And you wonder how far you can go
With every step on that road that you take
Allāh know, Allāh knows
No matter what, inside or out
There’s one thing of which there’s no doubt
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
And whatever lies in the heavens and the earth
Every star in this whole universe
Allāh know, Allāh knows
When you find that special someone
Feel your whole life has barely begun
You can walk on the moon, shout it to everyone
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
When you gaze with love in your eyes
Catch a glimpse of paradise
And you see your child take the first breath of life
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
When you lose someone close to your heart
See your whole world fall apart
And you try to go on but it seems so hard
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
You see we all have a path to choose
Through the valleys and hills we go
With the ups and the downs, never fret never frown
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
Every grain of sand
In every desert land
He knows
Every shade of palm
Every closed hand
He knows
Every sparkling tear
On every eyelash
He knows
Every thought I have
And every word I share
He knows
Allāh knows

O what a wonderful world this would be
if we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
and we can all come together somewhere...somehow

His door is open no matter who you are
just take the first step, you'll see it's not so far
Down this road that has all the answers
open your heart to something greater

His holy book speaks pure and true
and always tells us what we must do
His Last Prophet was sent as a guide
an example by which we abide

There is salvation for those who seek
to find the one and only source of peace
An understanding of why we are here
who created us, who we must fear

Such different people from different lands
were all descendants of the first man
We can be one nation facing one God
with no hatred, no envy, no war

Created equal are you and I
which of his favours can we ever deny
We may have everything or nothing at all
but our purpose lies with this call

To worship Him, to praise Him all day
onto the straight path, lets not go astray
He is the greatest and most merciful
and everything acts upon his will

Like every sunrise that brings forth each day
brings new meaning, new hope, a new way
Such is the blessing bestowed upon us
every hardship and heartache will pass

From the mountains to the deep blue sea
everything in perfect harmony
and as the stars fill the evening sky
without us sensing, life is passing by

So if you want a solution, my friend
seize this moment, this day before it ends
turn to Him, don't you see its so clear
believe in Allah, He's always near

SubhanAllah, walhamdulillah
Wa-la-illah-ha-illAllah, Wa Allahu-akbar,
Wala-howla-wala-kuwata

The same moon, the same star
Gazed right down at Rasūlulllāh Messenger of God
They saw him climb, down from Hirā’
Now a Prophet, Prophet of Allāh
And in the sky, was Angel Jibrīl
He said O Muẖammad, O Rasūlulllāh
And so he walked, into Mecca
In his heart echoed “Iqra’, Iqra’” “Read, Read”
And from the world, darkness was gone
With salvation, rising with dawn
For here was a blessing, a gift from Allāh
And the light of Muẖammad, outshone that star
Muẖammad is, and always will be
The last and final Prophet of Allāh
He was a mercy, unto the universe
peace and blessings be on Al-Muṣṭafā The Preferred One
So he began, this perfect man
Sending his word, across the land
leading only, by his Sunnah Tradition
And the Qur’ān, the word of Allāh
He brought the answer to this cruel world
Our beloved Prophet, Muẖammad
So from that cave, in Mount Hirā’
To the holy city of Medina
In life and death, he showed Islām
Opened our hearts to the wealth of Imān Faith
So O Allāh, hear my du’ā Prayer
Keep me as part of the Prophet’s ummah
Community of Muslims
Muẖammad is, and always will be
The last and final Prophet of Allāh
He was a mercy, unto the universe
peace and blessings be on Al-Muṣṭafā
The same moon, the same star
Gazed right down at Rasūlulllāh
They saw him climb, down from Hirā’
Now a Prophet, Prophet of Allāh
And in the sky, was Angel Jibrīl
He said O Muẖammad, O Rasūlulllāh
He said O Muẖammad, Nabī of Allāh
He said O Muẖammad, Prophet of Allāh

You held my hand to steady me
Till I was ready to make a stand
On my own two feet
While my world was crumbling down
And you tried your best to shelter me
From the coming of the storm
You opened my eyes to see
That all hope was not gone
You held me in your arms
And wiped away my tears
Not even in a million years
Can I ever repay you
For what you’ve done for me
You were there when I felt
That there was no place for me
You were there to show me
How to truly believe
In the miracle of creation
In the good and the bad
Oh how I love you Mum and Dad
You were there to lift me up
When I was far too small
To see a brighter tomorrow
And face it proud and tall
When my head was down, you prayed for me
Said I just need some time
You said to spread my wings and fly
Give the world of what was inside
You taught me to try
To do my best to inspire
People of every kind
That’s a gift from Allāh
That I can never claim as mine
Oh Allāh, bless them
And always keep them safe from harm
Grant them places in Paradise
And Your eternal Salām

Where there’s a right, there is no wrong
I always thought we were so strong
But our time just flew right by
There wasn’t a chance to say goodbye
I’m so confused, I feel all alone
Deep in my heart I know Allāh has called you home
But yet, your smile
Still lingers in my mind
And yet, it’s so hard
I just break down and cry
I remember your eyes
Found a way to melt my heart
Most of all I remember, I remember your smile
Sometimes I lie awake at night
The pain in my heart I just can’t fight
Why did you have to go away
Yet I know none of us can stay
You’ll always be, so special to me
In this world you’ll always live as a memory
But yet, your smile
Still lingers in my mind
And yet, it’s so hard
I just break down and cry
I remember your eyes
Found a way to melt my heart
Most of all I remember, I remember your smile

Give thanks to Allāh
For the moon and the stars
Praise Him all day for what is and what was
Take hold of your Imān Faith
Don’t give in to Shaytān Satan
Oh you who believe
Please give thanks to Allāh
Allāhu Ghafūr Allāh is the Exceedingly Forgiving
Allāhu Rahīm Allāh is the Bestower of Mercy
Allāhu-yu-ẖibbul Muẖsinīn Allah loves the doers of good
Hu-wa Khāliqunā He is our Creator
Hu-wa Rāziqunā He is our Sustainer
Wa Hu-wa ‘alā kulli shay-in-Qadīr
And He is the one who has power over all
Allāh is Ghafūr
Allāh is Raẖīm
Allāh is the One who loves the Muẖsinīn
The doers of good
He is our Creator
He is our Sustainer
And He is the One who has power over all
Give thanks to Allāh
For the moon and the stars
Praise Him all day for what is and what was
Take hold of your Imān
Don’t give in to Shaytān
Oh you who believe
Please give thanks to Allāh

Now who’d thought, I’d be here
On top of the world
From the darkest underground,
To the place beyond the clouds

Was Allah who brought me here
When I thought I would disappear
But all that’s good comes from him
All that’s bad purifies within
But all that’s good comes from him
All that’s bad purifies within

It was a time not long ago,
The days were long and the nights were cold
Demons came took everything
Left a hollow soul within

I shook my fist unto the world
Why me why now, Oh why Am I here
But all that’s good comes from him
All that’s bad purifies within
But all that’s good comes from him
All that’s bad purifies within

Now who’d thought, I’d be here

HOPE

Thula Sizwe (Hush nation)
Ungabokala (Do not cry)
U’Allah Wakho (Our Lord)
Uzokunqobela (Will protect us)

Inkululeko (Freedom)
Sizoyithola (We will get it)
U’Allah Wakho (Our Lord)
Uzokunqobela (Will protect us)

Oh My Children
Dry your tears
For Allah will guide us to Jannah

For our Freedom
Some day will come

When Allah will guide us to Jannah

For as long as, I remember
You were there for me
A young woman, growing older
But always mum to me
My heaven lies under your feet

Now I look at you and there's a few more, wrinkles and lines
But I still see the same beautiful smile
And it hurts to know someday the light will fade from your eyes
Cos you're the woman I love
You're the mother I love, my mother
You're the woman I love

Life just passes by
a fragile butterfly
I thank Allah to have you by my side

It seemed my heartbeat, a little faster
The day I held your hand
We were young then, learning together
To love and understand,
You helped me to be who I am

Now after all these years, I look at you, my beautiful bride
My whole life is right there in your eyes
And Allah allows me every day to wake up with your smile
‘cos you’re the woman I love
You're the woman I love, my wife
You're the woman I love

Life just passes by
a fragile butterfly
I thank Allah to have you by my side

How could I, describe the feeling
of holding you that day
From the moment, of your first breath
You stole my heart away,
There’s nothing about you I’d change

Now I will stand by you, as you spread your wings, in this great big world
But you’ll always be my little girl
And I pray Allah will keep me by your side long enough for you to learn
That you’re the woman I love
You're the woman I love, my daughter
You're the woman I love

Cos Life will pass us by
you are my fragile butterfly
I thank Allah to have you by my side

The greatest blessing
That I have
Are the women in my life…

He was born in Arabia
Father already dead
Mother died when he was young
But little did they know that the orphan son
would grow one day to be the chosen one
So
He grew under the tutelage of his uncle
One day when they were travelling was spotted by a monk
The monk recognized
That he was prophesized
He looked into his eyes
He saw in him the signs
and this was not astrology
I’m talking Deuteronomy
and so his personality
was quick to gain autonomy
grown to be known
as honest and strong
Trustworthy everybody loved him like they love they own
family and happily at 25
He married Khadija a woman who would stand by his side
but as the days flew by
questions arise
about
How his people was living they lives
Paganistic and ritualistic
So this caused him to meditate about his existence
in many instances he would retreat to a cave
just to contemplate
Well
Age 40
Cave was the scene
Angel appears
tells him to read
Read
What shall I read
Never was a literate one so tell him what do you mean

Zain Verse 1:
The same moon, the same star
Gazed right down at Rasulullah
They saw him climb, down from Hira
Now a Prophet, a Messenger
And in the sky, was Angel Gibraeel
He said O’ Muhammad, O’ Rasulullah

Zain Chorus: Muhammed is, and always will be
The last and final Prophet of Allah
He was a mercy, unto the universe
Peace and blessings be on Al-Mustafa

Rap 2: He fled the home and told his wife an such
was scared to death he thought his mind was touched
possessed
but she relieved stress
and confirmed
that he was indeed a Prophet
It was then he regained his consciousness
realized what had happened no time to rest
Arise at morn
call everybody and warn
The religion of Islam reborn
Now the first test was his family and friends
lend me your ear O’ people who I have known for years
You have
trusted me with your life’s possessions
I come to you now with a holy directive
a better direction
away from the sin of worshiping false IDOLS
and mistreating your women
and no human
can ever be judged
by the color of his skin
no instead what he or she does

Khalil Chorus:
Muhammad Peace be upon his soul
Muhammad Islam was his only goal
Muhammad Sallallah hu Alay Wasallam

Rap 3:
This is the belief that I bring to you cuz
and I ask for it nothing but the worship and love
For the Creator , the Maker , the Merciful the Savior
Submit your desires and you will gain His favor
Well can you guess what they answer was
Most of his fam simply laughed it off
told him he was crazy and they cast him off
took him as a joke all they did was scoff
But a few returned to the truth
then another few and then another few
then
before his family knew it he had a following
they laughs turn ta frowns see they really couldn’t
swallow this threat to a power structure
so corrupt
All he wanted was to love his brothers
in return their was torture they would make him suffer
Many died but they couldn’t stop Allah’s Qadr, so he would rise!

Khalil Chorus:
Muhammad Peace be upon his soul
Muhammad Islam was his only goal
Muhammad Sallallah hu Alay Wasallam

Rap 4:
Invited to Medina
They saw he was a leader
Protection they would lend him
And he would be their teacher
The brotherhood would grow
His enemies would fold
The Muslims were outnumbered
Only fearlessness they showed
Time has come to go back home
In his possession now the strength to wipe out his foes
See they had tortured him and plotted on his death
Yet he spared them and chose no bloodshed
Cuz he was so compassionate
All he wanted was the people to acknowledge that
Submission would wipe out sins
That giving charity and honoring your mother wins
That righteous deeds would be the key
To salvation of the soul and we could be happy
and he would go down in history
As the Greatest of all time we send him peace

Zain Verse 2:
So from that cave, in Mount Hira
To the holy city of Medina
In life and death, he showed Islam
Opened our hearts to the wealth of Imaan
So ‘o Allah, hear my Du’aa
Keep me as part of the Prophet’s Ummah

Chorus:
Muhammed is, and always will be
The last and final prophet of Allah
He was a mercy, unto the universe
Peace and blessings be on Al-Mustafa

There's a place in your heart
And I know that it is love
And this place could be much
Brighter than tomorrow
And if you really try
You'll find there's no need to cry
In this place you'll feel
There's no hurt or sorrow

There are ways to get there
If you care enough for the living
Make a little space
To make a better place

Chorus:
Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough for the living
Make a better place for you and for me

If you want to know why
There's a love that cannot lie
Love is strong it only cares for joyful giving
If we try we shall see
In this bliss we cannot feel
Fear or dread we stop existing
And start living

Then it feels that always
Love's enough for us growing
So make a better world
Make a better world

Chorus

And The Dream We Were Conceived In Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We Once Believed In Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep Strangling Life
Wound This Earth, Crucify Its Soul
Though It's Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God's Glow

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart, I Feel You Are All My Brothers
Create A World With No Fear
Together We'll Cry Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn Their Swords Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place

Chorus

And the sun still shines on paradise island
Its radiance belies a deep dark deception
And as warm waters bathe paradise island
Its comfort conceals a cunning cold connivance

On the shimmering sands of paradise island
Cages and chains pray on our conscience
And as palm trees sway on paradise island
In the shadows they lurk persona non grata

CHORUS
I can see the ghosts of Guantanamo Bay
I can hear the ghosts of Guantanamo Bay
I can feel the ghosts of Guantanamo Bay
Do you know they’re ghosts on Guantanamo Bay
Guantanamo Bay

Can you see the ghosts of Guantanamo Bay
Can you hear the ghosts of Guantanamo Bay
Can you feel the ghosts of Guantanamo Bay
Do you know they’re ghosts on Guantanamo Bay
Guantanamo Bay

And so ends all romantic notions
Discard due process, and redesign justice
Detained by decree, starved of humanity
Unaccused and untried unconvicted, unjustified
haunted voices echo in silence
thoughts and feelings suppressed in blindness
unseen faces imprisoned in darkness
and we all remain guilty in our ignorance

CHORUS

BRIDGE
There are phantoms, apparitions
These are the lost souls of Guantanamo Bay
Guantanamo Bay
How they haunt us
Freedom taunts us
And the lost souls of Guantanamo Bay
Guantanamo Bay
CHORUS

As we sail, across the sea of life
So much pain, warring divides
It’s a shame; we don’t see how it can be

CHORUS

Oh we need to smile at each other
Reach for your brother
Help one another, all/what we need is love
Oh we need to honour our mothers
Shelter our sisters
Alter existence, God’s help will come from up above
But, First we need the love

All the games people playing now
Fuel the flames, hatred devours
Lets spark a change, that’s within all of us

CHORUS (x2)

RAP

i am in the birds
i am in the trees
from the brown branches
to the the green leaves
im colorful
spectrum infinite
i touch all
indiscriminate
breed compassion and sentiment
limitless in my power to heal
the hearts of men
but they are so forgetful
that's why i remind on an instrumental
this life is a trial
can never the let the test effect your smile
reach for your brother go the extra mile
kiss for ya mother hug your sister let your wife know that you miss her
know that you can never give up
when you fall to the floor im the reason you must get up
love
im a blessing from God
So why you dont use me more is so odd
you need love!
we need love!

Arabic translation :
Oh God You are my only Lord, You know everything
I came to You humbled, seeking Your forgiveness
You are al Kareem and al Jawad and al Samad and al Azeez , all creatures came to You
Oh lord I beg You don’t forsake me, no one care about me but You

Verse 1
The morning light shines through the dark
O lord, please bring peace to this broken heart
And I stand before You alone
A lost soul trying to find my way home
Lord, will You not find me, when I yearn for Your love
Lord, will You not help, when I cry out enough

Chorus 1
Allahumma Antas Salaam
Wa minkus Salaam
Ta baarakta Yathil Jallaali wal ikraam

Chorus 2
Everyday is a struggle, Everyday is a struggle
Help me get up and walk, Lord
Everyday is a struggle, Everyday is a struggle
Allah, help me to walk

Verse 2
I try to break through this hold on my past
Sow the seeds of hope and faith in only Allah
And I am broken with no where to go
The only road is to the One, whose mercy forever flows

I’m playing outta position, I feel like I’m missing
The whole point of this game
I’m tired of consuming, this daily illusion
It’s gonna drive me insane
But once in a while the veil gets lifted
And I see the other side
Aint no ticket tape parade waiting by the gate
Unless I work on the inside

Chorus:
We’re so caught up in our homes, our lives, our things
Magazines and television closing all the lids
There’s a whole world out there
Work to be done
C’mon everybody, Come on, Come on
C’mon everybody, Come on, Come on

My family is waiting, but my time is taken
With so many things in my life
So inconsequential, technological ventures
Distractions that mess with my mind
But once in a while I try to resist
O everything coming my way
Gives a feeling inside, makes me realize
I get down on my knees and pray

Chorus
Bridge:
Lord, Oh Lord
You are Peace, with You is Peace
Oh My Lord, Help me raise my eyes to the sky

I see her walking down the street
No one knows the way she feels
She covers up her clothes
trying to hide a broken home

She takes a look up at the sky
wondering why, why, why
She breaks into a little prayer
telling God Dad was never there
was never there when he could've been,
was doing things should’ve never been seen

CHORUS

Will her eyes ever see
Will it be forgotten
Will her soul ever heal
Or is she forever broken

Her life is a mirror of mine
Different souls, pains the same inside
I hang a swing up in the yard
swing so high, trying my best to fly but
This family tree won’t carry me
fall down to the ground so hard

A broken spirit that may never heal
try my best to erase all the memories
CHORUS

Will her eyes ever see
Will it be forgotten
Will her soul ever heal
Or is she forever broken

Rap:
Ya Habibti (Oh my sister), fear not Allah’s help is near
It may not be when you want it but soon you’ll see it clear
That you’ve been tested and been tried for a reason
And that which does not kill you makes you stronger so believe in
Allah
Never lose hope
And cling tight
To his rope
Know surely after difficulty
Ease is where you’ll go
Gardens
Beneath which rivers flow
Endless treasures troves
And purified souls
Is the promise that is given to those who persevere
So remember God and keep Him near
I swear to you if you keep faith the picture will get clear
That you are being prepared for something greater listen here
I swear to you if you keep faith and not fall in despair
Allah will heal you make you better and ease all your fears

And you’ll no longer feel broken

CHORUS

Will her eyes ever see
Will it be forgotten
Will her soul ever heal
Or is she forever broken

A Way of Life

Which of Allah’s favours can we deny
Above all creatures, He chose us to be high
To Him we belong, to Him is our return
Life in this world is only sojourn

To the angels He commanded
that man be respected
Shaitaan heeded not and so was rejected
Compared to the angels we are but clay
As long as Allah we obey, we’ll not go astray

As the best of His creation only us did He deem
This for us is honour this high esteem
His qudrat it is that cause winds to blow
He gives us provision so that we may grow

To lead man astray, shaitaan made a vow
None can mislead us if to Allah we bow
It’s a task to be free from shaitaan’s treachery
Iman is our weapon, it’s Allah’s mercy

Allah is our creator, He gave us dignity
We face evil each day, in Him there is serenity
At the time appointed the world shall perish
Hope for hereafter’s success is what we cherish

To show the way He sent prophets to guide
Life may be pleasant, His laws we must abide
Muhammad was the last, rahmatullil – aalameen
Through him Allah sent al –Qur’aan al mubeen

O’ one who sleeps, stand up and declare
The oneness of Allah, the oneness of Allah

For the pleasure of Allah,
The pleasure of Allah

Most blessed of all nights
Most blessed of all nights

O’ you who believe, give thanks to Allah
For the month of Ramadaan
The month of Ramadaan

Where are you going? where are you going?
North, south, east or the west
Where are you headed? oh where are you headed?
Turn to Allah, that’s the best
Cos He is there, wherever you are
So turn, turn, turn to Allah

Where do you live? oh where do you live?
In a tent or in a town. It doesn’t matter where you live,
You can soon be found
Cos He is there, wherever you are
So turn, turn, turn to Allah

Allahu Allahu, Jallah-Jallalahu,
Allahu Allah, Jallah-Jallalahu

Where do you come from? where do you come from?
North, south ,east or the west
It doesn’t matter where you’re born
Islam is the best
And He know who the good Muslims are
Who turn, turn, turn to Allah

What are you doing, what are you doing
I’m praying to my lord, to keep us guided
On the straight road
Cos we all need guidance wherever we are
So turn, turn, turn to Allah

What are doing? what are you doing?
I’m praying to Allah. To give us victory
And guide us to Jannah
Cos he’ll be there where the good Muslims are
Who turn, turn, turn to Allah

We are the Muslim Ummah, and each day that goes by the harder we try
In gratitude we pray to Allah.
Chosen as part of the best of mankind. We spread the word of Islam.
Each minute, each hour. In awe of His power.
Each flower, each tree. Everything that we see
Spread the word o’ man. Spread the word Islam
Oh fortunate one, Paradise must be won
Each day and each night. Through darkness and light
Cry it out to the world. Loud enough to be heard.
Spread the word, Spread the word,
Spread the word Islam
Every difficulty faced in our lives
Makes us realize that it’s just
part of Allah’s plan.
Feeling stronger
we take it in our stride.
He will always favour
the patient one.
While we spread
the word of Islam
Every sigh, sad goodbye.
Every tear from my eye
Every yes, every no.
Every high, every low

Salamun, salamun, salamun, salam.

We made peace a symbol of ours;
in the name of peace we gather here now.
O Lord! please make these days of ours on this earth
filled with peace.

Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful peace
Salamun, salamun, salamun, salam.

Ja’alna - as-sala -ma shi’a -run lana -;

So Lord, indeed! You are as-Salam,
from You comes salam and with You is salam,
To You belongs the command of all things;
between Your hands are the hearts of all beings

So Lord, indeed! You are as-Salam,
from You comes salam and with You is salam
To You belongs the command of all things;
between Your hands are the hearts of all beings English chorus

Fa ya Rabbu innaka anta as-Sala -m;
wa minka as-Salamu wa ‘indaka as-Salam.
Li amrika yarji’u amru al-ana -m,
wa bayna yadayka qulubu al-Anam.

Ya Allah c’est toi sans doute la paix
C’est toi qui la donne et toi qui la détient
Le destin des hetres que tu as creés
Et celui des coeurs se trouve entre tes mains

All praise is due to Allah,
For what He’s given us for today
And in the morning that will come,
We’ll face the bright tomorrow
We, the children of Islam
We learn to live for Allah
And side by side we’ll always stand
The Ummah of Rasullallah
As long as we believe in you, we’ll never go
astray.

Five times a day, we stand and pray
Oh ya Allah! That’s what we’ll say
And in the month of Ramadaan,
We’ll fast and strengthen our Iman
Oh Allah! Protect us all
with Your help we will not fall,
La illah ha illallah
Muhammad ur Rasullallah
As long as we believe in You,
We’ll never go astray.

We walk the halls of learning,
To clarify our vision
The flame of truth is burning,
For our Iman will never die
We are the children of Islam,
Together we’ll stand for all of time
The Ummah of Rasullallah
The servants of only Allah
As long as we believe in You,
We’ll never go astray
As long as You are in our hearts,
We’ll never go astray

When i was born, the first words that I had
heard
Were the words of Allah being whispered
through my ear
And as I felt Allah’s presence in my soul
That day Islam took me in its fold

CHORUS
I am a Muslim
Islam my Deen
Allah my Lord
His word Quraan
Muhammad, prophet
Peace be upon him
I am a Muslim for all of time

As I grow up, walking in this great big world
I gaze in awe at the wonders of Allah
And as I learn the cruel lessons of life
Islam shines through as my guiding light

CHORUS
Someday, somehow my journey here will end
I know not when Allah will call me home
This life I led, o’ what a blessed thing
As death comes to me these words I will sing

Give thanks to Allāh
For the moon and the stars
Praise Him all day for what is and what was
Take hold of your Imān Faith
Don’t give in to Shaytān Satan

To see you smile again
Forever

Don’t u see?
It was nothing more than destiny
You and me...

I’ll be by your side
Forever

Til the day I’m gone
To my eternal home
My love will still live on
Forever

As the light ight descends
God’s mercy never ends
We’ll be together again

Just as the sky is blue
And as the sun shines through
There’ll always be me and you

Eid-un Sa’eid

Although I never saw his face. So beautiful bestowed with grace
My heart just yearns to be like him. Although I never saw his face
The sunnah of the prophet I will embrace. Prayers and blessing I pour onto him
Although I never saw his face

He loved the children and the old. Gave his heart to every soul
Nursed the sick and served the poor. Fed the hungry at his door
Loved the creatures tame and wild. Comforted the orphan child
Bid men peace, cared for the youth. Allah’s messenger in truth

So with devotion I do read. His life of which I try to lead
No deed is mine except is his. Although I never saw his face

Muhammad is his blessed name. Called for tawhid when
he came. He was honest, very kind. Greatest teacher to
mankind. Brought us guidance so complete. Taught us how to
pray and eat. Always practised what he knew.
Never strayed from what is true

While in the sunnah you’ll recall. Are detailed teachings
for us all. And no more prophets there will be.
For he’s the final one you see

His life he was prepared to give
At Uhud, Badr, Ta’if
Brought to us holy Qur’aan
Very heart of our Islam
On the plains of Arafaa
Gave last sermon for Ummah
Passed away in Medina
Lived only to worship Allah

Do you know what Islam is
It’s a way of life for all
It is taught in the Qur’aan
For big and small

CHORUS

A way of life, a way of life
A way of life, a way of life
Islam is a way of life
A complete way

Do you know what Islam says
It says that life’s the greatest test
It says that life’s a borrowed space
Returned upon rest

CHORUS

Islam solves all of our problems
Allah leaves no stone unturned
Perfect with no flaws at all
Are the laws of Allah

As-salaat-u-ala-nabi
Was-salaamu-ala-rasul
Wal-ambiyaa-il-mursaleen
Kul-u-hum mukramoon

Blessings be upon nabi
Peace be upon the messenger
And the prophets who were sent
All of them were honoured

Adam, Idris, Nuh, Hud, Saleh
Ebrahim, Lut, Ismaeel
Ishaq. Yaqub, Yusuf, Ayub
Shuaib, Musa, Harun, Dhul-kifli
Dawud, Suleiman, Ilyas, Al-Yas-a
Yunus, Zakaria, Yahya, Isa
Wal-aakhirul khaatimul ambiyaa
Muhammad al mustafaa

Nowir qulu bana ya Allah,
ka qalbi rasulika ya Allah
Nowir qulu bana ya Allah,
ka qalbi Rasulika ya Allah

Adam, Enoch, Noah, Hud, Saleh, Abraham,
Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Je-
thro, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elijah,
Elisha, Jonah, Ezekiel, Zechariah, John,
Jesus, Muhammad (Peace be upon them All)

The Beginning

He stepped inside his home
He was overwhelmed with fear
An angel came with words from God
Things were still unclear
Saying “Read, Read,” but he could not read
Amazing words that he heard
A trembling deep inside his heart
Confused by what had occurred
There was only one who could comfort him
To help him see the light
To ease his fears, to reassure
Was Khadījah, his wife
He said Zamilooni, Zamilooni Cover me, cover me
Dathirūni, Dathirūni Wrap me, wrap me
A mighty task has come before me
I need you here with me, by my side
She was a woman of nobility, successful in all her trade
Many wealthy men had asked for her
She turned them all away
But when she saw Muẖammad, a shining moon
May peace be on his soul
He was a light for her, so right for her
Her life will now be whole
But she had never seen him so distressed
As he was there that day
She would comfort him, and hold him tight
And chase his doubts away
We look for stories of love
In places dark and cold
When we have a guiding light
For the whole world to behold
But we're so selfish in our ways
To the ones we hold so close
Our own pleasure and happiness
Is what we value most
But she sacrificed all her wealth
And everything she had
And he honoured her and gave her faith
when the times were bad, when times were bad
Now years have passed, times had changed
Since Khadījah breathed her last
And the message of the one true God
Was spreading far and vast
But then he came across some jewellery
That Khadījah once had worn
His eyes began to swell with tears
His heart again began to mourn
‘Cause she was there for him
When the times were rough
And his enemies were cruel
She was the first Believer, so keen and eager,
To comfort Ar-Rasūl The Messenger
When he said
Zamilooni, Zamilooni
Dathirūni, Dathirūni
A mighty task has come before me
I need you here with me, by my side

I look at you and wonder
You grew up so fast
Shout out to the world like thunder
Make every moment last
Here's your time to find your place
Stand up proud and embrace
What you have, all you have inside

You are very special
You’re a gift from Allah
You are very special
He knows who you are
And I can promise forever
No matter where you are
You’ll always hold the most special
Special place in my heart

Bright little eyes He gave you
To help you find your way
May Allah grant them wisdom
To see you through each day
Created by His grace
What a beautiful face
And a smile, just like a sunrise

Whatever life will bring you
Whatever you will bear
Just remember your Creator
Allah is always there
And when your worlds crumbling in
Feel the pain rushing in
Remember, remember who you are

Social expectation drowns us all inside
What you have should be what I want
‘Cause what I have just ain’t alright
The clothes I wear, the way I comb my hair
How I live, oh I don’t care
This is who I am, this is me
Nothing, everything, can’t you see
Who I am, just let me be
‘Cause like it or not but God loves me
Who I am
He said, she said, they all did
What’s expected of them all
To get to the top don’t matter
If somebody’s gotta fall
You gotta brace the storm, the norms to conform
Get what you wants’ gonna kill us all
Beyond the body that you see
There’s so much more to me
And I feel best when my soul is free
They tell me this is the way, that I need to reform
If I continue to stray, I’m gonna start up a storm
Wear this, drive that, like this, not that
Don’t dare lose track or you’ll fall way back
But if my Lord loves me
Then I know that I’m free
You can say what you want, just let me be
I know if I’m real and it’s not a disguise
You’ll love who I am if you open up your eyes
I insist that you see, I ain’t a mystery
It’s who I wish to be, yo this is me
It’s what’s true within, come and look again
Looking through the skin
Who I am
This is who I am, this is me
Nothing, everything, can’t you see
Who I am, just let me be
‘Cause like it or not but God loves me
Who I am

Playing on the desert sand,
Two friends forever true,
Little did they know back then,
What their paths were destined to.

Companions spreading the word
To the people who needed to hear,
How readily did he accept,
Muhammad’s message from God

Abu Bakr As Siddiq
The Prophet’s faithful friend.
Trusted and protected him, His love had no end
Abu Bakr As Siddiq
Allah be pleased with him
Companion in Jannah
Oh blessed by Allah
Abu Bakr As Siddiq
The Prophet’s faithful friend
Riding on the desert sand,
Two friends forever true,
And this much did they know right then,
Allah would see them through.

Companions on their way alone,
Seeking refuge in Mount Thoor,
Their trust only in Allah’s care,
Filled their hearts and souls with noor.

As-Siddiq, best of men,
The Prophet praised you so,
You shared and defended,
You helped the message grow
And unto the very end
The Prophet’s faithful friend
Alone in the desert sand,
Abu-Bakr stands and cries,
Tears roll onto his hand,
At the Prophet’s demise

For they had stood before all,
As boys and then as men,
Believers unto the one God,
The Prophet and his friend

Abu Bakr As Siddiq
The Prophet’s faithful friend.
Trusted and protected him, His love had no end
Abu Bakr As Siddiq
Allah be pleased with him
Companion in Jannah
Oh blessed by Allah
Abu Bakr As Siddiq
The Prophet’s faithful friend

Peace Train sounding louder
Glide on the Peace Train
Ngise’Khaya, Ngise’Khaya
Come on Peace Train
Peace Train on its way

Oh I’ve been happy lately,
Thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be,
Something good has begun
Oh I’ve been smiling lately,
Dreaming about the world as one
And I believe it could be,
Some day it’s going to come

Some day it’s going to come,
Come take me home again,
Mmm, come on Peace Train
Some day it’s going to come,
Come on Peace Train,
Mmm, come take me home again,
Oh Peace Train sounding louder
Glide on the Peace Train
Mmm, come on Peace Train
Ngise’Khaya, Ngise’Khaya, Ngise’Khaya, Ngise’Khaya, Ngise’Khaya

Cause out on the edge of darkness,
There rides a Peace Train
Oh Peace Train take this country,
Come take us home again
Oh I’ve been smiling lately,
Dreaming about the world as one
And I believe it could be,
Some day it’s going to come

Some day it’s going to come,
Come take me home again,
Mmm, come on the Peace Train...

I’ve been crying lately,
Thinking about the world as it is
Why must we go on hating?
Why can’t we live in bliss?
Ngise’Khaya, Ngise’Khaya Ngise’Khaya, Ngise’Khaya, Ngise’Khaya

Peace Train sounding louder
Glide on the Peace Train
Mmm, come on Peace Train...

Come take me home again,
Mmm, come on Peace Train
Some day it’s going to come,
Come take me home again,
Mmm, come on Peace Train
Peace Train on its way
Peace Train on its way
Peace Train

Cause out on the edge of darkness
There rides a Peace Train,
Peace train take this country,
Come take me home again,
Come take me home again,
Come take me home

Sometimes, when the world’s not on your side
You don’t know where to run to
You don’t know where to hide
You gaze at the stars in the sky
At the mountains so high
Through the tears in your eyes
Looking for a reason, to replace what is gone
Just remember, remember,
That you are never alone

You are never alone
Just reach into your heart and
Allah is always there
You are never alone
Through sorrow and through grief
Through happiness and peace
You will never be alone

So now, as you long for your past
Prepare for the future
But knowing nothing’s going to last
You see, this life is but a road
A straight and narrow path
To our final abode
So travel well O Muslim and
Paradise will be your home
and always remember,
You are never alone

You held my hand to steady me
Till I was ready to make a stand
On my own two feet
While my world was crumbling down
And you tried your best to shelter me
From the coming of the storm
You opened my eyes to see
That all hope was not gone
You held me in your arms
And wiped away my tears
Not even in a million years
Can I ever repay you
For what you’ve done for me
You were there when I felt
That there was no place for me
You were there to show me
How to truly believe
In the miracle of creation
In the good and the bad
Oh how I love you Mum and Dad
You were there to lift me up
When I was far too small
To see a brighter tomorrow
And face it proud and tall
When my head was down, you prayed for me
Said I just need some time
You said to spread my wings and fly
Give the world of what was inside
You taught me to try
To do my best to inspire
People of every kind
That’s a gift from Allāh
That I can never claim as mine
Oh Allāh, bless them
And always keep them safe from harm
Grant them places in Paradise
And Your eternal Salām

Rap: Abdul Malik
I’ve been to the holy land,
A place cherished by children of Abraham
But this bloodshed and carnage, don’t understand
Son raise your head, find the star in the night sky
Freedom will come Palestine, we hear it worldwide,

I see you creeping, over the border
So eager to take a life
Guns a blazing, you bring the horror
Tell me how you sleep at night
Children screamin, no tomorrow
That’s how they’ve lived their lives
Hope’s still burning, freedom will come
Everything’s gonna be alright

No matter how you try
You’ll never kill the hope burning bright deep inside
You may take their lives
But you’ll never kill the voice rising up
Freedom will come, Palestine

As a father buries his child,
You say she deserved to die
But aint nobody buying your lies
How can you say its right?
Demolition of homes and minds
In the eyes of a world gone blind
The revolution aint televised
In the streets, from the blood and dust, you will hear their cry

Rap: Khalil Ismail
Livin conditions vicious. Electricity missin
Villages pillaged. Mothers and children innocent victims. Indigenous however treated as if
They were the foreigner and criminal for showing resistance. Freedom. Limited. By an occupant position. Inhibited transmission from
humanitarians
This is. Just the beginning of these horrific incidents. Innocents disregarded so bombs drop, kill, and injure. Tell me. How hypocritical is it
To receive reparations for the crimes committed
Against you. Only to turn around and do
The same type of atrocities done to you
Face the truth. Justice will win through
And we all. Will answer for what we do
know oppression never lasts
Stand firm hold fast
To your faith
Let us pray Palestine
Will find
Freer days

Fortunate is he
Who remembers Allāh abundantly
Worldly distractions cannot mildly sway
His thoughts of Allāh and Judgement Day
Righteous is he
Who bows to one he cannot see
Whose deeds do not spring without Bismillāh
In the name of Allāh
Fulfilling his tasks with perfect Taqwā
Being conscious of Allāh
Devout is he
Who supplicates to Allāh intensively
Whose heart is merciful, tender and kind
His gaze on life after, this world behind
Prosperous is he
Who spends his wealth on the poor and needy
Who speaks a kind word to kin and neighbour
Ever-grateful for Allāh’s favours
Guided is he
Who prays Ṣalāt Ritual prayer, 5 times daily
with punctuality
Early morning, Tahajjud [Voluntary night prayer] he prays
For Allāh’s pleasure and nearness he craves
God fearing is he
Who contemplates death early
Who starts as he sees his demise
And tears fall over wasted sacrifice
Blessed is he
Who sings Allāh’s praises fervently
Blessed be all of Allāh’s slaves
Allāh’s mercy be with them always

Where there’s a right, there is no wrong
I always thought we were so strong
But our time just flew right by
There wasn’t a chance to say goodbye
I’m so confused, I feel all alone
Deep in my heart I know Allāh has called you home
But yet, your smile
Still lingers in my mind
And yet, it’s so hard
I just break down and cry
I remember your eyes
Found a way to melt my heart
Most of all I remember, I remember your smile
Sometimes I lie awake at night
The pain in my heart I just can’t fight
Why did you have to go away
Yet I know none of us can stay
You’ll always be, so special to me
In this world you’ll always live as a memory
But yet, your smile
Still lingers in my mind
And yet, it’s so hard
I just break down and cry
I remember your eyes
Found a way to melt my heart
Most of all I remember, I remember your smile

Allah Knows

Slowly slow my child
The world waits for you
And your window of time
Will come shining through
Slowly slow, don’t rush you know
It’ll all come easy
There’s some things you can’t take back
No regrets for what you gonna get
Needs some thinking down the line
Slowly slow my darling
I’m here for you
And every stumble, every fall
Breaks my heart in two
I only want the best for you
And every step makes up the mile
Even though it takes a while
And God will always smile on you my child
So have faith, have faith
Just like the bird who feels the sun
And sings before the dawn has come
Have faith, have faith
Slowly slow my boy
I see you’re strong
And everybody wants to find
A place where they belong
But don’t you find yourself someday
In a cold and dark and lonely place
And you wonder how you got there
I know it gets clouded in your mind
And you wanna move faster
It seems you’re running out of time
But I love you
Together we’ll get through
Don’t you know
Slowly slow
Slowly slow my son
You wanna be a man
And I guess those days are gone
When I used hold your hand
Cause this is the age of winks and smiles
And butterflies deep inside
But you’ll always be the coolness of my eyes
Slowly slow my child
The world waits for you
And your window of time
Will come shining through
Slowly slow, don’t rush you know
It’ll all come easy

Did you ever hear about the boy
Who ate and ate and ate!
He ate early in the morning
And he ate when it was late.

But he didn’t thank Allah for all the yummy food he had
And he ate so much it made him sick!
Which really made him sad.

He ate dates in Damascus, which he thought were very nice.
And hot samoosas in Sumatra, seasoned with a special spice.

He had tacos in Tijuana with some sauce he got from Spain
And a bowl of fresh bakalava that he bartered in Bahrain.

He said gyros made in Cairo are a taste that can’t be beat,
And the lemonade in Yemen made a very special treat.

But the turkey made in Turkey
Could still use a pinch of salt.
If you ever visit Malta, you should
Have a chocolate malt!

He had pizza in his pocket, he had ketchup on his shirt,
And he bought an ice-cream sundae, so he wouldn’t miss dessert.
He had pizza in his pocket, he had ketchup on his shirt,
And he bought an ice-cream sundae, so he wouldn’t miss dessert.
On a bay in the Bahamas,
He ate bon-bons in a bunch.
And then he rushed back
Home so he could make it
Just in time for lunch!

Then one day he saw a little girl, who held her tummy tight,
And he walked over and asked her if everything was alright.

She said she was so hungry and had been hungry for so long,
Then he realized the way he ate was very very wrong.

He looked down at his own tummy and he started feeling pain-
Pain from eating too much food, but he knew not to complain.
So he brought the girl some food, shared it with her family,
Then they thanked Allah for what they had, and then he let them be.

So let’s try to learn a lesson and let’s try to do what’s right.
Eat the food your parents give you without a fuss or fight.

Always be thankful to Allah for all your yummy food,
Share what you have with others, because not sharing is rude.

Being thankful is what’s really great.
Eat the veggies on your plate.

And don’t be like the boy who always ate and ate and ate!

Being thankful is what’s really great.
Eat the veggies on your plate.

And don’t be like the boy who always ate and ate and ate!

She wakes up early in the morning with a smile
And she holds my head up high
Don’t you ever let anybody put you down
Cos you are my little angel

Then she makes something warm for me to drink
Cos it’s cold out there, she thinks
Then she walks me to school, Yes I aint no fool
I just think my Mom is amazing

BRIDGE/CHORUS

She makes me feel
Like I can do anything
and when she’s with me
there’s no where else, I’d rather be…

After School, she’s waiting by the gate
I’m so happy that I just can’t wait
To get home to tell her how my day went
And eat the yummy food, only my Mom makes

Then I wind her up cos I don’t wanna bath
And we run around the house with a laugh
No matter what I say, she gets her way
I think my Mom is amazing

BRIDGE/CHORUS

In the evening, she tucks me into bed
And I wrap my arms around her head
Then she tells me a tale of a girl far away
Who one day became a princess

I‘m so happy, I don’t want her to leave
So she lies in bed with me
As I close my eyes, how lucky am I
To have a Mom that’s so amazing

BRIDGE/CHORUS

Then I wake up in the morning, she’s not there
And I realize she never was
And I’m still here in this lonely orphanage
With so many just like me

And as my dreams begin to fade
I try hard to look forward to my day
But there’s a pain in my heart that’s a craving
How I wish I had a Mom that’s amazing
Would be amazing

Chorus
Lay down your head
And go to sleep
May you dream
Of gardens sweet
Close your eyes
And dream away
Of Allah’s gifts
To you this day

The sun that rose upon your head
As you lay within your bed
Green grass, blue skies and waters deep
Of this and more, dream in your sleep.

Chorus

The earth and all that it contains
With Allah’s blessing, He sustains
Remember this, my dear, in sleep
That Allah’s pleasure we must seek.

Chorus

Allah created all you see
The mountains, birds and humming bees
To Him we will return one day
So turn to Him again and pray.

Chorus

And as you drift off to sleep
In my heart your love I’ll keep
You are so special my dear.
Cause Allah brings our hearts so near.

Chorus

A little boy went first day at school
He got some crayons and he started to draw
He put colors all over the paper
For colors was what he saw
The teacher said, "What you doin' young man?"
"I'm paintin' flowers see"
"Well this is not the time for art young man
And anyway flowers are green and red
There's a time for everything young man
a way it should be done
You've got to show concern for everyone else
For you're not the only one"
And she said...
"Flowers are red
Green leaves are green
There's no need to see flowers any other way
Than they way they always have been seen "
But the little boy said...
"There are so many colors in the rainbow
So many colors in the morning sun
So many colors in the flower and I see every one"
Well the teacher said… "You're sassy
There's a way that things should be
And you'll paint flowers the way they are
So repeat after me..."
she said...
"Flowers are red
Green leaves are green
There's no need to see flowers any other way
Than they way they always have been seen "
But the little boy said again...
"There are so many colors in the rainbow
So many colors in the morning sun
So many colors in the flower and I see every one"
Well the teacher put him in a corner
She said… "It's for your own good…
And you won't come out 'til you get it right
responding like you should"
Well finally he got lonely
Frightened thoughts filled his head
And he went up to that teacher
And this is what he said
"Flowers are red, green leaves are green
There's no need to see flowers any other way
Than the way they always have been seen"

Well time went by like it always does
he moved to another town
And the little boy went to another school
And this is what he found
The teacher there was smilin'
She said..."Painting should be fun
And there are so many colors in a flower
So let's paint every one"
that little boy painted flowers
In neat rows of green and red
And when the teacher asked him "why"
This is what he said..
"Flowers are red, green leaves are green
There's no need to see flowers any other way
Than the way they always have been seen."
But there must still be a way to have our children say,
There are so many colors in the rainbow
So many colors in the morning sun
So many colors in the flower and I see every one
There are so many colors in the rainbow
So many colors in the morning sun
So many colors in the flower and I see every one

If you ask me, why do I stand here,
So unafraid of everything around me.
Proudly I would say, I am a Muslim.

If you ask her, why does she dress that way,
All covered up in a world that gives it all away.
Proudly she would say, I am a Muslim.

Chorus:
Deenil Islam deeni
Wala ‘ardab gheiru deeni
Muhammad elli hadeeni
Nourel iman

If you ask me, surely this cannot be,
You give your wealth so free, and you say your life is charity.
It ain’t hard to see, I am a Muslim.

If you ask him, why does it hurt so,
When he sees injustice, even though it’s folks he doesn’t know,
With tears in his eyes he says, I am a Muslim.

Chorus

If you ask her, why doesn’t she cry,
There’s no one by her side, she’s the only one that’s left behind.
Patiently she sighs, I am a Muslim.

If you ask him, why does he still pray,
Five times a day when so many others have strayed.
Smiling he would say, I am a Muslim.

Chorus

If you ask me, why do I love you
No matter where you are, we are the greatest Ummah
With the beating of our hearts, we are Muslim.

La-illah-ha-illalah Muhammad-ur-rasullulah
There is only one God
La-illah-ha-illalah Muhammad-al-Mustapha
Muhammad is the messenger

No you can’t take it with you when you go
Oh no you can’t take it with you when you go
Can’t understand why you keep holding on
Just ‘cause you can’t take it with you
No you can’t take it with you
Yes, you can’t take it with you when you go
Oh when you go
I see you pride yourself in your new car
Chatting on your compact Nokia
And you love your expensive clothes
But you can’t take it with you when you go
Oh when you go
No you can’t take your big screen TV
Nor your variety of DVDs
No you can’t take you designer shoes
Everything you have, you gonna lose
‘Cause there’s one thing that matters
When you walking down that street
Is the good and bad that you sent forth
In your book of deeds
So make sure that you’re ready
To receive it in your right hand
And take your place among
The righteous of man
You plan to get richer, your stash to be bigger
But man get the picture, you can’t take it with ya
Your cell phones, head phones, flat screens, ring tones
Big homes, gemstones, power from big loans
Collections of new shoes, connections of Bluetooth
Vacations where you cruise, the young ones go ooh
Go shop for robots or gold watch or what not
Your CDs of hip hop, your laptops. Just stop and let go
When you die say bye-bye, what is best is inside
Fill the scale up with deeds so you best when you part
Put the wealth in your hand; take it out of your heart
Give thanks for the wealth that your Lord will bestow
But know, that you can’t take it with you when you go
No you can’t take it with you when you go
Oh no you can’t take it with you when you go
Can’t understand why you keep holding on
Just ‘cause you can’t take it with you
No you can’t take it with you
Yes, you can’t take it with you when you go
Oh when you go

It's happening more and more each day
These drugs making my friends crazy
I'm laying it down...
Don’t bring it around...
Cos I aint nothing but Drug Free

Verse 1:
I used to see my buddy Fayaz looking all depressed
I guessed, that he was in some major tests
After class, we used to go and play some ball,
He was fast and tall, he surpassed us all,
But after a while I'd see him playing less and less,
He be looking more depressed and stressed at best
So one day after class, I took him aside,
I said tell me what's going on, man are you alright?
He said I got some issues with my folks I cant resolve
No need to stress you out Bro, or get you involved
So I put it to him, have you started smoking weed
And the answer that he gave me really made be grieve
He said yeah once in a while when I need to mellow out
But I'll be alright, I'm not the one to worry about
Yo we got to get you help before you ruin yourself
You got greatness ahead, you aint like everyone else
He said I promise I'll be fine and he gave me his hand
So I trusted him and hoped that he would soon understand
Couple months went by and he be worse and worse
Like he was thrown in a curse, I hoped that he would reverse
then one day, he asked me for a couple a bucks
He said he needs to pay a friend and right now he's stuck,
I said I know you smoking crack now, confirmed that for a fact now
I gotta get you help now, don't even try to back down
Gave him the money, he promised Monday he would meet me
Friday got the call that would defeat me completely
Fayaz had died of a drug over dose
It was the saddest day ever - aint nothing comes close
Man I hate those drugs, hate ‘em with all of my soul
chokes the young and the old, till their bodies is cold
So I don't care if you're a player or a wanna-be thug
Don't ever, ever come close to drugs

Chorus:
It's happening more and more each day
These drugs making my friends crazy
I'm laying it down...
Dont bring it around...
Cos I aint nothing but Drug Free

Verse 2:
Months later, was still mourning his death
Was angry and sad that he fell in this mess
A teacher who noticed how miserable my soul was, Came Over
He said I see your carrying a boulder
I know that I'm older, but let me tell you something that I never ever told ya - Put my arms around his shoulder
My daughter, she was the pride of my heart
As a father, we were never far apart
Was a popular girl, always on top of the world
Never scared to try something new and give it a whirl
But she had low self-esteem, If you know what I mean
And it only takes a moment, Yo, to devastate a dream
She started hanging with this girl from school
Her Grades went down and she started breaking rules
And it festered and festered - we didn't want to face it
Til one day, she came home totally wasted
Then friend told us she was close to being arrested
We put our foot down and we forced her to get tested
She tested positive for drugs, but there was something else
The doctor asked to do more tests to check up on her health
And then came the news, that would totally defeat me,
Her use of all the needles, she had gotten HIV
I was livid, that moment and that feeling I will always live with it,
Man It's still vivid
She died 5 years ago, nothing I could help
My Lord has helped me with this pain that I felt
With tears in me eyes, Yo I gave him a hug,
May God give you strength to keep away from drugs

..keep away from drugs, ..keep away from drugs
Chorus:
It's happening more and more each day
These drugs making my friends crazy
I'm laying it down...
Dont bring it around...
Cos I aint nothing but Drug Free

When you feel all alone in this world
And there’s nobody to count your tears
Just remember, no matter where you are
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
When you're carrying a monster load
And you wonder how far you can go
With every step on that road that you take
Allāh know, Allāh knows
No matter what, inside or out
There’s one thing of which there’s no doubt
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
And whatever lies in the heavens and the earth
Every star in this whole universe
Allāh know, Allāh knows
When you find that special someone
Feel your whole life has barely begun
You can walk on the moon, shout it to everyone
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
When you gaze with love in your eyes
Catch a glimpse of paradise
And you see your child take the first breath of life
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
When you lose someone close to your heart
See your whole world fall apart
And you try to go on but it seems so hard
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
You see we all have a path to choose
Through the valleys and hills we go
With the ups and the downs, never fret never frown
Allāh knows, Allāh knows
Every grain of sand
In every desert land
He knows
Every shade of palm
Every closed hand
He knows
Every sparkling tear
On every eyelash
He knows
Every thought I have
And every word I share
He knows
Allāh knows

I sometimes lie awake at night
And wonder at the stars so bright
I dream about my future too
And the things that I will do

Soon the world will count on me
I’m the future they agree
People depend on me somehow
Though small and timid, I am now

So you and I my dearest friend
Must stand together till the end
For we are one by Allah’s grace
No matter what our colour or race

We must prepare ourselves today
While we journey on our life’s way
So much there is to learn and see
For true believers we must be

Yeah, yeah. Come on.
Yeah, yeah. Come on.
Go forward young Muslims, wherever you are
In the shadow of the sun or by the light of a star
Your Supreme protector is Almighty Allah
Go forward young Muslims wherever you are
Go forward young Muslims we feel your pain.
So many places, Palestine,
People are dying, mothers are crying
Bombs are falling from the sky, people asking why.
The only thing that we can do is pray to God, to help them through
But do they realize that Allah hates those who kill and despise.
I think that’s no surprise. We must rise up.
Come on young Muslims, gotta rise up.
Come on young Muslims.
Together we must stand in the Masjid to pray,
Pray for a better day, a better way
To make this world a better place.
Cause lets face it, it’s out of control.
We need to grab hold of each other
unite as one Ummah.
Like back in the days of the
Companions of the Prophet
Some were young, they were strong and they
loved each other
Brothers and sisters and they could
die for one another.
Yeah. Yeah.
So stand up young Muslims.
Say it out loud, it’s time to be counted.
Right here, right now.
Yeah, right here. Come on, right now.

O Allah we love you so
Give us health and make us grow
Be with us each passing day
While we journey on life’s way

Mountains of Makkah

Oh Mountains of Makkah, what can you say
Of the day that Abraham passed your way
And He was instructed by God to build
A House of peace where people will pray
And they will come on every lean
camel and out of every ravine
For the purpose of praising Allāh
To glorify Allāh
Oh Mountains of Makkah, what can you tell
Of the day that stones from the sky fell
Destroying an army determined to break
The House of Allāh that Abraham built
Oh Mountains of Makkah, how was the dawn
On the day that my Prophet Muẖammad was born
How did it feel knowing he was to be
The last and most beloved of all
Rasūl [Messenger] of Allāh, Nabī [Prophet] of Allāh
Oh Mountains of Makkah, you were there
When the Prophet Muẖammad climbed down in despair
Engraved in his heart were the words of his Lord
To all of mankind, this was his call
Lā ilāha illaAllāh, Muẖammad-ur-Rasūlulllāh
There is no God but Allāh, Muẖammad is His Messenger
Oh people praise only Allāh, glorify Allāh
Oh Mountains of Makkah, how did you mourn
On the day that the beloved returned to his Lord
And up ‘till the last breath escaped from his lips
He prayed that his ummah Community of Muslims
Would find success
Oh Mountains of Makkah how will it feel
When the earth shall quake and tremble with fear
And we shall be gathered together to stand
In the court of Allāh with our deeds at hand
Oh how we pray that on that day
We’ll be with those to whom Allāh will say
Peace be with you, I am pleased with you
Oh Mountains of Makkah, bear witness that I
To the oneness of Allāh do I testify
For all that He’s given me, how can I deny
My purpose in life should be only to cry
Lā ilāha illaAllāh, Muẖammad-ur-Rasūlulllāh
There is no God but Allāh, Muẖammad is His Messenger
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muẖammad-ur-Rasūlulllāh
O Allāh, bless Muẖammad, Your Messenger
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muẖammad Nabī Allāh
O Allāh, bless Muẖammad, Your Prophet
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muẖammad Rasūlilllāh
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muẖammad, Rasūl of Allāh

Labbaik Allah Humma Labbaik
Labbaik Allah Humma Labbaik
Labbaik ala Shareeka laka Labbaik
Labbaik ala Shareeka laka Labbaik
Innil Hamda, Innil Hamda
Wan Ni’mata, Wan Ni’mata
Laka wal Mulk, Laka wal Mulk
Laa Shareeka Lak

All across, ocean and land
Incumbent on all man
Is the pilgrimage to Makkah
Fifth pillar of Islam
In the footsteps of Muhammad
The last prophet of Allah (God)

Bow Down, Bow down and praise Allah
First sight of the Ka’bah
Break down, break down and Praise Allah

The path, this journey from afar
To the city of Makkah
To strengthen what we believe in
The voyage we undertake
Hear the echo in the wind
Labaik, Allah Humma Labbaik

Ismaiel, son of Ibrahim
Lay on the burning sand
With his mother running frantically
Between Safa and Marwa
From the sky came Angel Jibraeel
Brought a blessing from Allah…Allah

It isn’t always easy
there is so much we don’t know
So many people in this world
just don’t know which way to go
But if our faith prevails
We’ll always do our very best
To have the strongest conviction
And survive the greatest test

Here we are, leaving Mina
Conviction in our hearts
Crying out to the heavens
On the plains of Arafat
Standing proud beside my brother
Silent at Muzdalifah

Oh Shaitaan, I’m gonna throw you down
throw you down right into the ground
Oh Shaitaan, I’m gonna throw you down
throw you down right into the ground
For so many years you’ve been pestering me
Whispering and snickering in my ear
On this blessed day you pale and weak
Hiding in the corner filled with grief
Cos People come a marching praising Allah
Casting you right out of their hearts
You pledged to Allah, your only desire
To take us all with you straight to the fire
But Allah has supreme power, he will devour
Your plans for believers till cometh the Hour
You’ve been causin’ trouble since time began
A snake in the garden you tricked the first man
With every pebble I toss in the hole
I’m building my armour around my soul
I’m telling myself now it’s about time
There aint no way you gonna’ mess with my mind
Oh Shaitaan, don’t you slow me down
I’m making my way to the right part a town

There was so much on my mind in my bed I lay
I turned to my side and I heard a voice say
Stop all your whining, heart rates declining
You’ve got so much more than most
Look how you’re sleeping, how much you’ve eaten
Don’t you know that you’re supposed to say

Chorus:
Sabr and Shukr are wonderful things
The praises to Allah we should always sing
when things go right it’s from Him not me
And when they are wrong, we get through patiently

I got out of bed, began to walk
Bumped into some folks and we started to talk
Did you hear about the killing, the bloodshed, the stealing
The grass got burned on the other side
Soldiers a coming, people a running
All that’s left is the orphan child

I opened my eyes and began to see
Everything that’s happening around me
What seemed half empty now seems so full
There’s no use crying over what’s been spilled
While babies are dying, mothers are crying
Their containers have never ever been filled
Inn Allah ha, Ma as-Saabireen
I opened my eyes, began to see
Everything that’s happening around me

Lord, I am just a simple man
Trying hard to understand
Where’s my place in your great plan
Oh Lord, help this man

As time, like the grain of sand
Slipping through the palm of my hand
I realize I need to make amends
Oh Lord, forgive this man,
forgive this man

So many mistakes I’ve made along the way
Come fleeting by as I pray and I wonder
How merciful can You be,
Oh Lord, Help me

Lately I have been wondering so
Wondering ‘bout what do I know
About this life and where do I go
After I die, how can it be so?
That some people say that it all ends
When into my grave I descend
But how can my aim of heaven be flawed
When my only wish is to be with my Lord

Oh Lord, here I am, pleading at your door
Send me Your mercy, send me Your peace or I am lost for sure
Oh Lord, here I am, yearning for your cure
This humble servant will be diverted from you no more… no more

And so I was called to the places my Lord
The places my Lord has blessed for all
Joining the millions that day I walked
For my eternal salvation, I sought
And standing before him with all I have
two empty hands and a humbled man
I pledged my very life to Him, Oh Lord, here I am

Oh Lord, here I am, pleading at your door
Send me Your mercy, send me Your peace or I am lost for sure
Oh Lord, here I am, yearning for your cure
This humble servant will be diverted from you no more, no more... no more

Looking up at the sky
Searching for Allāh most High
He rejected the way of worshipping gods of clay
Prophet Ibrahīm knew that Allāh was near
And that the heart of a Muslim is sincere
Under the hot burning sun
He declared God is one
Though with stones on his chest
His Imān [Faith] would not rest
The Muadhin One who performs the call to prayer
knew that right would conquer wrong
And the heart of a Muslim must be strong
It’s the heart of a Muslim
Through the guidance of Islām
That makes you fair and kind and helpful
to your fellow man
So living as a Muslim means
That you must play a part
Allāh looks not at how you look but what is in your heart
In our poor meagre state
Little food on our plate
Mother said she was glad
Always sharing what we had
When I asked how can we share what’s not enough
She said the heart of a Muslim’s filled with love
He said it's time you should know
You will learn as you grow
That some people around
Will do what’s bad to bring you down
Father said to be a star that’s shining bright
For the heart of a Muslim does what’s right
So whatever you do
Make sure your words are true
Honesty is the best
Because life is a test
Even if it hurts so much you want to cry
For the heart of a Muslim does not lie
It’s the heart of a Muslim
Through the guidance of Islām
That makes you fair and kind and helpful
to your fellow man
So living as a Muslim means
That you must play a part
Allāh looks not at how you look but what is in your heart

Today, upon a bus I saw a girl with golden hair,
And in my heart I wished that I was just as fair
When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble down the aisle
She had one leg and wore a crutch, but as she passed, a smile
Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine
I have 2 legs to walk upon and the world is mine

I stopped to buy some candy
met a boy who had such charm
We talked, he seemed so happy
if I were late, it do no harm
And as I left, he said to me
“Thank you, you’ve been so kind
It’s nice to talk with folks like you
You see,” he said, “I’m blind”
Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine
I have 2 eyes to see the world and the world is mine.

Later that day on my way
I saw a boy with eyes of blue
He watched the other children play
he did not know what to do
I stopped a moment, then I said
“Why don’t you join the others, dear?”
He kept on looking straight ahead and then I knew he could not hear
Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine
I have 2 ears to hear the world and world is mine

With legs to take me where I’d go
With eyes to see the sunset glow
With ears to hear what I’d know
Oh the world is mine

I stopped for a moment
just look how much I have
Everywhere, in all our lives, these are His signs

Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine
I have two legs to walk upon, and the world is mine
Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine
I have two ears to hear the world
and the world is mine

Mercy and Blessings from above
Descend ceaselessly on Medina
People feel the joy, people feel the love
In the city of Rasūlullāh Messenger of Allāh
A perfect path he laid for everyone
He lived and died for us, what have I done
I have forsaken his life I have abandoned his way
Oh Allāh now my time has come
Deep in my heart I feel a change has begun
Deep in my soul I feel the warmth of the sun
Burning bright with Imān Faith
On the road to Ihsān Excellence
All my obstacles I will overcome
Peace be upon Rasūlullāh
Peace be upon Ḥabībillāh Beloved of Allāh
Peace be upon Muẖammad
Peace be upon Shafī-Allāh Purity of Allāh
Peace be upon Khayra Khilqillāh
The Best Creation of Allāh
Peace be upon Muẖammad
Last of the Ambiyā Prophets
Without his Sunnah [Tradition], we’re disgraced
People rushing in order to embrace
The Raẖmah [Mercy] that Allāh sends down to this place
To the city of Medina
Every language and colour you can see
There is unrivalled hospitality
And dates that’s as sweet as the smile of a child
Oh I feel so unworthy
Oh how my mind races back in time
To the day in Medina he arrived
And all the people came running happily outside
To welcome the Messenger
For his call was to worship the One
Their hearts united with the beating of the drum
And the children were singing praises to him
I wish I could’ve been there with them
Standing before him I realise that I have strayed
Oh Allāh, give me the strength to mend my ways
With tears in my eyes, I sincerely pray
Deep in my heart I feel a change has begun
Deep in my soul I feel the warmth of the sun
Burning bright with Imān on the road to Ihsān
All my obstacles I will overcome
Peace be upon Rasūlullāh
Peace be upon Ḥabībillāh
Peace be upon Muẖammad
Peace be upon Shafī-Allāh
Peace be upon Khayra Khilqillāh
Peace be upon Muẖammad

Our World

Ya Allah Ya Allah, Siyizisebezako
Ya Allah, Ya Allah Ya Allah, We are your servants,
Ya Allah, La illaha ill Allah, Muhammad-ur-Rasullullah,
(Zulu) Ngowokuqala i Muslim,
i Qur’aan Engiphila Ngayo
Ngiyaluzwa Lidumo Lwe Adhaan
Lusihlanganisa Njengama Muslim

I am a Muslim Qur’aan is my guide
I hear the calling Adhaan With it we unite
Ukuqala Kosuku, Luka Allah Ziyaqhakaza,
Zonke izinto, Zika Allah Ezijabulisayo
When Allah starts the day
And the night fades away
All things blossom In a beautiful way

Sizoba Amagugu Ebusweni Bakhe
Uma Silandela Ukhanya Lwakhe
Kufanele Silandele iindlela Zaba Profethi
Sihlale Sijabule, La illah ha ill Allah
We are special only If we follow His light
The way of Muhammad Calling to Paradise

Driving past, walking fast
To the field of dreams, hear the children screams
Every corner represents, a different image in my mind
A momentary emotion, space banked in time
In time
Memories fade like a dusty window pain
And you can't see you past no more
The only thing that remains is that feeling of warmth
In your heart that will always be there… be there
An immortal smile, stays only for a while
But down the line, it strengthens us inside
We all live the illusion of many days to come
Not realizing that tomorrow lies with Allah
The only One,
The Only One

Time goes by on the wings of a butterfly
And what goes with it is all that you have
So take the best of every moment, take the best of every man
Then move on and don't ever look back.. Don’t look back

We are the Muslim Ummah, and each day that goes by the harder we try
In gratitude we pray to Allah.
Chosen as part of the best of mankind. We spread the word of Islam.
Each minute, each hour. In awe of His power.
Each flower, each tree. Everything that we see
Spread the word o’ man. Spread the word Islam
Oh fortunate one, Paradise must be won
Each day and each night. Through darkness and light
Cry it out to the world. Loud enough to be heard.
Spread the word, Spread the word,
Spread the word Islam
Every difficulty faced in our lives
Makes us realize that it’s just
part of Allah’s plan.
Feeling stronger
we take it in our stride.
He will always favour
the patient one.
While we spread
the word of Islam
Every sigh, sad goodbye.
Every tear from my eye
Every yes, every no.
Every high, every low

O Allah save the Ummah In every land
near or far From all hurt pain and grief
Answer our prayers Ya Allah

Salamun, salamun, salamun, salam.

We made peace a symbol of ours;
in the name of peace we gather here now.
O Lord! please make these days of ours on this earth
filled with peace.
Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful peace
Salamun, salamun, salamun, salam.

Ja’alna - as-sala -ma shi’a -run lana -;

So Lord, indeed! You are as-Salam,
from You comes salam and with You is salam,
To You belongs the command of all things;
between Your hands are the hearts of all beings

So Lord, indeed! You are as-Salam,
from You comes salam and with You is salam
To You belongs the command of all things;
between Your hands are the hearts of all beings
English chorus

Fa ya Rabbu innaka anta as-Sala -m;
wa minka as-Salamu wa ‘indaka as-Salam.
Li amrika yarji’u amru al-ana -m,
wa bayna yadayka qulubu al-Anam.

Ya Allah c’est toi sans doute la paix
C’est toi qui la donne et toi qui la détient
Le destin des hetres que tu as creés
Et celui des coeurs se trouve entre tes mains

Allahumma salli ala Muhammad,
Wa ala ali Muhammad, Kama
sallayta ala Ibrahim, Wa ala ali
Ibrahim, Innaka hamidun majid

Allahumma Barik ala Muhammad
Wa ala ali Muhammad Kama,
barakta ala Ibrahim, Wa ala ali
Ibrahim Innaka hamidun majid

English translation:
O Allah, send prayers on Muhammad
and on the family of Muhammad,
as You sent prayers upon Ibrahim
and on the family of Ibrahim
You are indeed worthy of Praise
full of Glory.

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad
and on the family of Muhammad
as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim
and on the family of Abraham
You are indeed worthy of Praise,
full of Glory

Amid the confusion, the chaos and the pain
a man emerged and Muhammad was his name
and walking with nothing but Allah as his aid
and the mark of a prophet between his shoulder blades

In a cave in Mount Hira, the revelation came:
Read O’ Muhammad,
read in Allah’s name
May the blessings of Allah be on al-Mustafa
none besides him could have been al-Mujtaba

Muhammad, peace be upon his soul
The greatest of prophets,
Islam was his only goal Muhammad,
salla allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam

From among all the prophets,
Muhammad was the last
as his was a mission of the greatest task
There was only moral degeneration
people clung to idol adoration
For all nations, he was al-Mukhtaar
so was he praised by Allah, al-Ghaffaar
The bearer of glad tidings, al-Basheer
leading into light, as-Seeraj-al-Muneer

In handling the wicked, he had the best of skill
He pacified with tolerance
and goodwill The best of morals he
aimed to attain
All he accomplished through suffering and pain

Reviving imaan as al-muthakkir
He is known in the Qur’an
as al-mud-dath-thir
Only he was given the
honour of Miraaj
Unique was this glory to
Muhammad as-seeraj

He was ad-da’ee illallah hil azheem
al hadi elaa seerauteem mustakeem
His mission complete, he’s held in
great esteem Allah praised him as
bil-khuluqil azeem

May the blessings of Allah be on al-Mustafa
none besides him could have been al-Mujtaba
So perfect were his morals, so justly did he rule darkness
had vanished and the word was full of noor

Balaghal’ulla bikamaalihii
kashafad’dujaa bijamaalihii
hasunat jamii’u khisaalihii
sallu alaihi wa aalihi

Every morning on every news flash,
I hear the sorrow of the world
It seems like everybody’s lost and scared
trying to make sense of it all
And as I travel to and from,
so many faces pass me by
I see lonely hearts living lonely lives
just biding their time,

And while we call ourselves civilised,
many people living empty lives,
As they drone their way through day and night

I pray for our world,
I pray for every child
I pray for our world to be filled with smiles
Like the colours of a rainbow
and not just black and white
I pray for our world to be filled with light,
I pray for all of us, to choose the path that’s right
To believe in Allah, every day of our lives

In the evening on the TV news,
I see images of war,
I see brother killing brother with no consequence at all,
And while those who claim to be leaders,
sell us tales of deceit
But Allah alone know in their hearts
what they reveal and conceal,

And while we call ourselves civilised,
we go on killing human lives
too caught up in our own web of lies

Every mother, every father,
every daughter, every son Don’t you see,
that the answer lies only with the One

Performed by Zain Bhikha
She was just standing there,
little girl all alone
Barely covered head to toe,
barely just twelve years old,
Why is she all alone,
why’s the world just so cold,
Why don’t we play our part,
what has hardened our hearts?
What has hardened our hearts?

Underneath the waterfall,
million dollar shopping mall,
Two boys play their games,
helps to keep them nice and warm,
Thousand people walking by,
feeding their vain desire
Don’t they see, are they blind,
Allah loves the orphan child
Allah loves the orphan child

Like our Beloved Muhammad, Peace be upon Him
He was an orphan and Allah sheltered him
What status is given to these children…children?

Just by the riverside,
right next to that orphan child,
Families come to play,
they don’t see that’s where she stays,
Looking through empty eyes,
who cares that she might die,
O my child, don’t you cry,
Allah loves you more than I,
Allah Loves you more than.

She was just standing there,
barely just twelve years old,
What has hardened our hearts,
why’s the world just so cold

English tranlation:
Why can’t you O precious one,
why can’t you accept what’s from above Whatever comes bitter or sweet,
comes from Allah, a trial indeed
Why can’t you, why can’t you O my heart I ask of you
Whatever comes bitter or sweet
Embrace it all, submission complete
Why can’t you o precious one,
why can’t you accept what’s from
above Whatever comes bitter or sweet,
comes from Allah a trial indeed

Those that can’t accept flounder distressed, weeping tears deprived of success Because this life’s fleeting for sure, don’t you know you’ll always want more

Faith

O what a wonderful world this would be
if we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
and we can all come together somewhere...somehow

His door is open no matter who you are
just take the first step, you'll see it's not so far
Down this road that has all the answers
open your heart to something greater

His holy book speaks pure and true
and always tells us what we must do
His Last Prophet was sent as a guide
an example by which we abide

There is salvation for those who seek
to find the one and only source of peace
An understanding of why we are here
who created us, who we must fear

Such different people from different lands
were all descendants of the first man
We can be one nation facing one God
with no hatred, no envy, no war

Created equal are you and I
which of his favours can we ever deny
We may have everything or nothing at all
but our purpose lies with this call

To worship Him, to praise Him all day
onto the straight path, lets not go astray
He is the greatest and most merciful
and everything acts upon his will

Like every sunrise that brings forth each day
brings new meaning, new hope, a new way
Such is the blessing bestowed upon us
every hardship and heartache will pass

From the mountains to the deep blue sea
everything in perfect harmony
and as the stars fill the evening sky
without us sensing, life is passing by

So if you want a solution, my friend
seize this moment, this day before it ends
turn to Him, don't you see its so clear
believe in Allah, He's always near

nce, I was drowning in my fears
and the twinkle in my eye disappeared
and I had no way to look on
my horizon seemed to have gone
and my whole life, seemed empty and bleak
each day and night, the answers I seek

But when, the darkness seemed so strong
and I couldn't go on
to the sky I raised my hands
making right what was so wrong
I found the strength to carry on
up to heaven where I belong

In life, there are lessons to be learned
with steadfastness, paradise Is earned
and if, all hope seems to be gone
just hold on till after the storm
and if you ask, what purpose have I
why am I here, and why do I cry?

And when, the darkness seems so strong
and you just can't go on
pray for your helping hand
you'll see the sun will rise again
you'll find the strength to carry on
up to heaven where you belong

Cos life is but a journey for us all
we cry, we laugh, we run sometimes we fall
but through it all, always recall
God never gives, a burden too tall

nikaah-un mubaraak-un
zawaaj-un mubaarak-un
an-nikaahu min-sunnattee
ma qaa-lin-nabi hu-was-sahee
nikaah-un-mubaarak-un

Today you become man and wife
fulfilling the sunnah as way of lIfe
Today you'll find serenity
may your life be filled with sincerity

There is no happier day in your life
than the virtue of being man and wife
There's joy without any end
Allah's blessing on this day does descend...descend

As you walk together, hand in hand
Allah has given you a companion and friend
To stand, and always be seen
as man and wife, fulfilling their deen

From this day on, forever be true
cherish this life that's destined for you
Live your life with kindness and care
remember, Allah will always be there...be there

There is joy, there is happiness
in this union, let there always be bliss
Allah will bless your home with light
your heart with never-ending delight
Two worlds today have now become one
the road ahead is as bright as the sun
O Allah, keep this marriage so strong
in Your hands does their future belong...belong

The same moon, the same star
Gazed right down at Rasūlulllāh Messenger of God
They saw him climb, down from Hirā’
Now a Prophet, Prophet of Allāh
And in the sky, was Angel Jibrīl
He said O Muẖammad, O Rasūlulllāh
And so he walked, into Mecca
In his heart echoed “Iqra’, Iqra’” “Read, Read”
And from the world, darkness was gone
With salvation, rising with dawn
For here was a blessing, a gift from Allāh
And the light of Muẖammad, outshone that star
Muẖammad is, and always will be
The last and final Prophet of Allāh
He was a mercy, unto the universe
peace and blessings be on Al-Muṣṭafā The Preferred One
So he began, this perfect man
Sending his word, across the land
leading only, by his Sunnah Tradition
And the Qur’ān, the word of Allāh
He brought the answer to this cruel world
Our beloved Prophet, Muẖammad
So from that cave, in Mount Hirā’
To the holy city of Medina
In life and death, he showed Islām
Opened our hearts to the wealth of Imān Faith
So O Allāh, hear my du’ā Prayer
Keep me as part of the Prophet’s ummah
Community of Muslims
Muẖammad is, and always will be
The last and final Prophet of Allāh
He was a mercy, unto the universe
peace and blessings be on Al-Muṣṭafā
The same moon, the same star
Gazed right down at Rasūlulllāh
They saw him climb, down from Hirā’
Now a Prophet, Prophet of Allāh
And in the sky, was Angel Jibrīl
He said O Muẖammad, O Rasūlulllāh
He said O Muẖammad, Nabī of Allāh
He said O Muẖammad, Prophet of Allāh

In the name, of Allah
Lord of all the Worlds
There is no God but Him
the Living, the Eternal
His throne extends
over the heavens, and the earth

He alone do we worship
He alone we ask for help
Show us the straight path
The path of those You love
Protect us from all evil
From the path of those astray

O Provider of all things
To You we turn each day
O Merciful Creator
only to You we pray

Oh Little One I won’t weep for you today
Allah has smiled upon your heart and taken you away
Amid thunder and confusion
Your tears and cries so thin
There were angels there beside you
Calling you to him

And though you walked upon the earth
For such a little while
In the playground of forever
You’re running with a smile
So Little One I won’t weep for you today
Allah has smiled upon your heart and carried you away

Each day we are reminded
And each day we say
There's not much that we can do
It seems so far away
So we live our lives in silence
Pretending not to hear
The voices of our people
The cry is so so clear
Why do we stand by spectating
While our brothers cry jihad?
We are bound by one conviction:
We believe in Allah

Have you heard of Kosova, of Afghanistan?
Have you heard of Palestine [2nd chorus: Bosnia]
Of Cheechaan?
Have you heard of all these people
Persecuted in their land?
Do you know that all these people are dying for Islam?
Have you heard, have you heard
Have you heard?
Each day is like another
Nothing seems to change
Today he'll lose his brother
Tomorrow will be the same

Yet his faith makes him stronger
He's come o so far
The pain in his heart is eased
By his love for Allah
O I envy you my brother
In adversity you pray
You know that heaven awaits you
At the end of this day

SubhanAllah, walhamdulillah
Wa-la-illah-ha-illAllah, Wa Allahu-akbar,
Wala-howla-wala-kuwata
Illa-billa-hil-aleehil-azeem
Glory be to Allah, All praise to Allah
There is no God but Allah, Allah is Great
All power and might belong to Allah
The Most High, the Great

You know, from the start
A message was sent from above
A message so clear and so true
A message so final for you

The time has come
To let the whole world know
This message of peace and love
Came only from Allah above...

Have faith, step onto the cloud of Islam
And you will discover the light of Iman
Proclaim this message entrusted to you
And the cloud of Islam... will carry you

You know, for all Man
messengers were sent to guide
From Adam to Nuh to Musa
Ibrahim, Ismail, Isa
Then came, Muhammad
the last and final messenger
confirming what was said before
perfecting this deen of Allah

I know that it's not always easy to see
the difference from right and wrong, what would it be
but people this message lies here in our hands
Happiness, peace and the answer for Man

So now, don't you see
Inviting to Allah should be
every Muslims responsibility
Everybody, you and me

When he was placed in the well
or locked in the dungeon
betrayed by his own flesh and blood
convicted of what he did not
handsome Yusuf sighed
Allah is enough for me!

Taken in as a slave
made to work night and day
resisting all temptation
Allah is enough for me!
Until the king had a dream
Many hard years had gone by
patience and repentance
Allah is enough for me!

Till...the fortunate day
there he sees his father
in the land of content
Allah is enough for me!
Handsome Yusuf cried
Allah is enough for me!

Every night brings a new day
Allah alleviates all pain
Everything has its end
Allah is enough for me!
Everything has its end
Allah is enough for me!
Allah is enough for me!
